According to indianautoblog the SF FI coexist with the regular SF which is updated with rear disc brake. And fuel injected variant can be had only in moto GP livery scheme.
So can anybody confirm the availability of SF with disc brake only ?

You are actually right, once the updated versions will be at dealerships, FI will be only for GP livery model only, rest of the sf gets carb only with rear disc.

Dealer said price may hike upto 15 k and im on tight budget ....and i cant wait that long , so is it possible to change stickers without affecting paint?

You are actually right, once the updated versions will be at dealerships, FI will be only for GP livery model only, rest of the sf gets carb only with rear disc.

Look in the first image there is no FI logo(sticker) above the rvm and in the second image there is one above right rvm from front.
So I think Suzuki has given option to have SF in Moto GP livery scheme with rear disc brake only.

you can wait for the FI and Disk brake.If they are charging only 15K for this then definately its a big pros for the buyers.
With Fi you get Crisp throtle and no cold start problem.Nost importantly you wont haave any low mileage issues unlike carb(And the AFR tuning thing)
Disk on the rear wheels.....you got extrmeely aweosme stopping power.

Sadly no bro!!!!! if u r wishing to buy an sf fi motogp edition you have to pay 10000 more than the currently available version ie sf. Fi engine will be available only in motogp edition .Another option is there too .red,pearl mirage,black all these have no graphic and will be equipped with rear disk brake with a carburetor breathing engine. Power figures of sf fi is currently unknown. Expect to have some power bump ups. :-)

I think the fi logo will be at right side of RVM only....cannot see in that shown image I guess. My condition is also similar like you mate I'm a hard core fan of sf. Waiting for the arrival of sf fi. Let me give you some advice bro when you are going to buy a new bike it will be with you for atleast 4 to 5 years right? During these years technology changes a lot in bikes.( may be majority bikes will be available with rear disk brake.even now fazer is available with fi engine). At that time u may be thinking of getting a rear disk brake in your ride( expensive a lot). So my opinion is Wait for sf fi like me. Will be cost 10k more but worth every penny....

This will be my ride for next 2-2.5 years. This is my first bike so in first few days I'll be learning to ride a bike properly.
If it goes on sale in April what will be the waiting period for the bike ?
Are you sure that bike will cost 10k more than the current version because I heard somewhere that it may cost 20k more.

I absolutely agree with [MENTION=82149]Jithu Jarvis[/MENTION] .have a little patience and wait for the FI.don't think much about the bike.once it releases just book and and enjoy it.as I mentioned before the advantages for FI.
