yeah i saw the snaps of SF with installed the led lights on that gap, yesterday i try to remove the black air vent from faring but they are fixed with whole fairing, i think we need to remove them by cutting... SF owners who has installed the led lights there it will be great for us if you could suggest how to done it .........

The hugger you can get it in Yamaha services center/showrom where they sell spares. it costed RS600/- only hugger, hugger with stems will cost RS.1000/-.

Please not that you only need to buy the hugger and not the stems.

I will update the picks, steps and things required to make this customization in coming posts. :-)

I got them from a local shop from my area, the guy keeps accessories for sports and super bikes.
It cost my 1200 for the set.

And yes these are because i was damn irritated with the stock RVM's they were useless in heavy traffic; no matter how carefully you drive but some dumb jerk would come by trying to squeeze into gaps and hit the mirrors.

          • Pros and Cons of Stock, Naked Gixxer's and bar-end mirrors

Let's list the pros and cons of the three types of mirrors for SF. Might help me and others.

            Stock Mirrors

            Pros :
            1. Better visibility - This is what I've heard in some video reviews (Is this true ?)
            2. Looks - The holes left after removing them surely don't look nice.

            Cons :
            1. Get Loose - Specially the right one. Strange.
            2. Difficult to adjust - Reaching out to fix them is not that easy
            3. Traffic woes - Make filtering hard

You guys can continue this for the other two types. One thing I really wanted to know :-

Stock mirrors don't show any vehicle which is just beside you. Are such vehicles visible in the naked gixxer's or the bar-end mirrors ?
And don't we increase the width required to filter traffic with the bar end mirrors ?

The bike I got has very tight right rvm and I can't even fold asked about it in svc and they said it's become loose over time so they have kept it like that
Well suzuki is taking feedback serious it seems cool

And for helmet personally I like it clean and neat I don't like stickers any where, that's why I bought black SF,and I bought a Vega Crux Helmet.
Had a confusion whether to go for Off Road or this Crux but finally went for Crux model.
Reason I went for Crux Model is,first of all in our SF with those stock mirrors we can't see the vehicles that are aside of us.,with a Crux model it can be used as normal helmet or it can be lifted up so that we can clearly view side ways.

Yea and my hands also feel stressed out actually this is the first bike I own, even though I learned bike 8 years back when in 9th class I never owned a bike,I used to drive my dad's bike only.

For some small rides my hands feel a bit of pain.,mainly left hand.
Helmets are whatever you prefer just make sure it is a ISI and DOT marked helmet other then that pick your fav.

Yes the hands and legs do hurt from time to time but it's normal just try to find a comfort spot on your bike and it will hurt less and you will get used to it.

Wait for FI and rear disk variant which is better imo

Well 3 Point you should consider before making any decision

                    1. Fi is getting Fuel Injection means better mileage and better Performance [Just a bit, not much difference]
                    2. Fi have Rear Disc Break , which is Cool, but again it's gona be 5-10 K More than normal Blue Moto GP
                    3. It will be in showroom after this financial year ends, lets say minimum 2 Months , max depend on market launch.
                    4. FI have different Graphics

Other wise both SF and FI are 99.99% same in all aspect, Choice is your's .

                    Cheers !!

It is April this year as per the Showroom in Hyderabad. But again might depending on how fast the showrooms can clear stock.
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

by the way can you what chain lube and cleaner to use ? Motul or any other , an i guess i missed lubing my chain in between coz the showroom guy told me its cleaning and lubing only after every 1000kms , so from now on i will lube bike's chain myself every 500 kms and will clean and lube after 1000kms.

                            Now i know something

Well as you can see in the image the bar end mirrors that i have installed dont come out from the bike that much its just an inch wider now from end to end.

as for the visibility, they are not as efficient as the stock mirrors as the stock mirrors are larger, but when you choose a bar end mirror, dont go in for the local cheap stuff. buy a good product which has convex mirror (curved mirror) so that you get better visibility.

and yes the holes left after removing the stock mirrors do look bad but only from up close, you do not notice the nuts from a distance. but then that a personal call.
