Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Well small doubts.,I got my bike yesterday night.,
I'm maintaining speed around less than 50 or 60.,the max till now I put is 53.
I've set the RPM light to 4500,so that I get a warning.
And small things I observed is gear shifting is a bit tight as everyone said not that hard.,and when I try to go a bit more on 3rd or 4th gears like 45 at 4th gear I hear sounds from bike is that normal during start.,even I hear those sounds at 3rd gear too.
Thank you.

If the cluch is Pulled all the way down, then no, wheel will not spin,Originally posted by akash22 View PostGuys I know this question have been answered and still just wanna ask for satisfaction?
Bike in centre stand
Fire up the engine
Shift into first
Pull in clutch
Does the rear wheel spin??
if you you let it in half yes it will !

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Guys need one help. I'm getting my bike on Monday. Kindly suggest some good bike cover. I have visited every suzuki showroom nearby. They all don't have gsx sf cover in Stock. There is no proper parking space where I live. Suggestions regarding safety accessories would be nice. BTW thinking of getting helmet from suzuki showroom itself which have those suzuki stickering. Kindly suggest any good helmet under 3k. Thanks in advance!!!

Even I want a cover, parking problem for me also, already small kids done some chockpiece work on my seat.Originally posted by nikCool View PostGuys need one help. I'm getting my bike on Monday. And for helmet personally I like it clean and neat I don't like stickers any where, that's why I bought black SF,and I bought a Vega Crux Helmet.
Had a confusion whether to go for Off Road or this Crux but finally went for Crux model.
Reason I went for Crux Model is,first of all in our SF with those stock mirrors we can't see the vehicles that are aside of us.,with a Crux model it can be used as normal helmet or it can be lifted up so that we can clearly view side ways.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Regarding bike cover I have no idea. Under 3k you can go for studds shifter that's great I have used it for 1 year, try kranos also but it will cost 3,350/- I think. There is a separate thread for helmets, please check there.Originally posted by nikCool View PostGuys need one help. I'm getting my bike on Monday. Kindly suggest some good bike cover. I'm thinking of getting pulsar rs 200 cover for gixxer sf. Also checking for alternatives. I have 2 helmet in my mind- 1 helmet from suzuki showroom or studds shifter helmet. Any other suggestions are welcome.Originally posted by Prahasitv View PostEven I want a cover, parking problem for me also, already small kids done some chockpiece work on my seat.

Well the only problem for me with shoes is,I need a 12 size shoe and I'm worried that it might touch ground., and one more problem is,wearing shoes for small distances ..,, I don't like it.Originally posted by Rapper Deepak Arya View PostShoes Doesn't hurt at all, if you can use. hehe okay,
Can you and anyone else reading this can confirm something.
from my fuel tank , just a little petrol smell is coming from that side Fuel tank's Cap while its completely closed , Showroom guys said its normal, but i'm worried if there is some problem with Washer or something else, When ever you drive tomorrow can you please put your nose close to fuel tank's cap and Smell if petrol smell is coming, It's not too much just a little let's say around 10 from Scale 1-100.
Please check thanksWe have What's App Group for Suzuki Gixxer, so Much can be shared there and problem can be responded ASAP.
