[QUOTE=Jithu Jarvis;1209881]Sure,Originally posted by Rapper Deepak Arya View PostAbout u r sticker work ...is it replaceable? Be carefull dude!!! might ruin the stock painting. Bigger stickers may do the job great making sf striking. Once you remove u r current small stickers go for some what bigger one since little ones looks bit messy......( small stickers are also good since sf is a motogp inspired bike LOL).
1. Stickers are completly Plastic based, means they are waterproof , they don't cause damage that much and recently after 20 days i removed one of my sticker from fairing and it came out all in 1 piece, so no need to worry,
2. My First servicing is in 2 Days, Dono what oil those F***r gona use, here they just need to run their stupid showroom and use cheap oil and charge for good one, Blah dono what to do. my bike is at 478 Right now and will be like 500 KMs while first servicing
3. Good thing is that That paining guy taking 1000 Rs for both Wheel to color white, or any other color, those guys do very good job with paint, proving the glossy type too, in future will make it Ninja or Yellow Ducati lol .We have What's App Group for Suzuki Gixxer, so Much can be shared there and problem can be responded ASAP.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Sorry mate, didn't think of filming the work while it was being done. So I don't think video will help.Originally posted by shailendra.k View Post
Fantastic job man, this just might be the revolution for current Gixxer Sf owners. Just like the others I would too request you to put up a tutorial/info video on this clip-on set-up and assembly.
Also, if you could post prices meanwhile for the actuals and labour, that'd be helpful.
Freaking excited looking at the possibility of clip-ons let alone the feasibility.
Moreover, I can guide you through all the processes that was done.
First of all you need to replace this
with this
. As I mentioned in my previous post. Its just a piece of cast iron, into which a thread was grooved in the lower part to tighten into the fork. The upper part had to be shaved to 39mm (fork dia of R15.). Just remember, the lower half is to be identical to the stock cap. Upper part has to be 70mm long and 39mm dia. And dont forget to make a groove for the oil seals as it is in the stock caps.
After fixing the clip ons you might want to drill a hole to the base to tighten thus bolt for extra peace of mind.
As you can see, there is still some gap after turning the handles completely, so the handles lock as they should.
This is going to be the riding posture.
notice the steep angle of levers. This is to avoid hitting the front fairing while turning the handle.
Now talking about the cost break-up,
Handle bars--- 2x₹350=₹700
Fork cap replacement
(Lathing and metal)---2x₹400=₹800
Drilling for extra bolts---- 2x₹30=₹60
Labour charge---- ₹500
Any other query, feel free to PM me. Cheers. The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Brother Jithu, there's no need to quote an entire post including pics & videos to reply - this makes the thread difficult to read & follow . It'll be enough if you just include the bit of the post which is most necessary if quoting is needed at all . My humble request to edit your posts please .Originally posted by Jithu Jarvis View Post.. will sent u ma number....... Cheers

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Yes but FI version gona be + 10,000/- More as far as i'm guessing, if you can go for it, you should definitely go for it, but if you are tight on budget, then SF is best. Why don't you wait for sf fi bro!!!? New SF will only come in FI, Disc variant. The naked version gets Disc Brake only.Originally posted by rajatgiri28 View PostCan anybody tell me if there will be a SF with rear disc brake only and with new stickers and without FI.
