Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Thats it, if that doesnt resolve it then head down to your local SVC and get it checked.Originally posted by sufi859 View PostOk any other tips ?For My Gixxer Related videos: Click HERE

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Gears will remain hard nothing can be done about that. Wear a hard shoes and improve your shifting technique to compensate for this. As for heating, the bike will heat up in bumper to bumper traffic. If its heating upto the point that its burning your legs then take it to the SVC. Depending on how "Not that much strictly" you followed the Breakin procedures, theres a chance something might have gone wrong.Originally posted by sufi859 View PostYes I do followed it but not that much strictly sometimes I was riding at higher RPM.For My Gixxer Related videos: Click HERE

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
i've completed 800kms on mine and got the oil changed with first service. the gear shift was hard when i took delivery of the bike last month. it was so bad that my toe started aching the next day. i took it back to the svc and had it checked out. the svc guy tweaked it a bit and its been much smoother since then. shift is still a bit hard compared to other bikes but its nowhere near the levels of day 1 and i dont need to wear heavy duty shoes to protect my feet.Originally posted by sufi859 View PostAnd my bike just completed 1700 kms and due to hard gear shifts I was planning to change the engine oil, so request to please enlighten this issue also. Query abt the rear shocks in Gixxer!
Does the rear shock in the Gixxer have adjustments for rebound or compression in addition to preload?Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk ! - Tony Stark

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF : Ownership thread
Pretty much not they are! The Sales guy said that the shock can be adjusted for stiff or spongy suspension! So I got this query posted here!Originally posted by MotoBlizzard View PostLol No, what do think the rear shocks are? Ohlins?
So the shock can be adjusted only for ride height??Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk ! - Tony Stark
