The name of this part is "CAP (OD:10)" and its part no. is 09250-05009.

Give this part no. and name to your service centre and they will get it within 10 days.

Was missing on mine too. Its not much of a big deal to get it. I asked the service man to get me one during my second service. They had lots of spare ones in the drawer. Didn't have to pay :P

You could have connected to ignition. So that your charger can be charged only after ignition is on.

The problem in my bike particularly is that oil is draining too fast, even if ridden normally. This causes white smoke to come out of the exhaust. Now have given it to them..He said it'll take 5 days ! So annoyed because it's just 4 months old and took care of everything, run in period, regular servicing, etc! Has anyone faced this issue ?
What happened next? Is the problem sorted out.

Just look at the bottom of key slot. One wire will be the input from battery and other will be to electrical distributor. Connect the wire to the second slot that's all.

Charger won't take much power so you can go by this method but when it comes about fog lamp or other heavy electrical items don't connect it to ignition, it may burn the relay.

                          • Engine turning off @ higher speed

Hi guys, My bike has done 2700 km, on two occasion the bike turned off when I was doing 110 kmph+, not sure what is the issue!
Started after few minutes, was having the feeling engine is going to die again, is this normal at high speed?

Have you checked the engine oil and confirm it is above minimum prescribed level

Nopes! Carburetted engines do tend to have irregular RPM after a high speed stint, especially improperly tuned carbs. But stalling at 110 KMPH, it is a death trap itself. The results could be catastropic if someone is tailing you and your bike goes "silent mode" you can image the consequences. Check your carburettor settings. Start with engine idling, check if there is any choking, blocking per se, if there is any difficulty for the bike to accelerate smoothly. Secondly, check how good your spark is, if you have poor or intermittent spark issues (highly unlikely) get your spark plug and ignition coil replaced checked.

All these are precautionary measures, though still, it can be as simple as a carb tune up, so let's start with the tune up part. Keep us posted.

                                Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                                The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                                THE END
