Did my first servicing yesterday and the bike now feels way better than it already felt. Power delivery feel more punchier in the 4k to 6.5k Rev range. Really an awesome bike.

No it will not become smooth, it will remain hard. You will have to compensate for that hardness by properly timing your shifts. This is how Gixxer's gearbox is, its not a problem specific to one person.

Start with engine idling, check if there is any choking, blocking per se, if there is any difficulty for the bike to accelerate smoothly. Secondly, check how good your spark is, if you have poor or intermittent spark issues (highly unlikely) get your spark plug and ignition coil replaced checked.

All these are precautionary measures, though still, it can be as simple as a carb tune up, so let's start with the tune up part. Keep us posted.

Hey mate thanks for your input, before making any changes thought of riding at higher speed again & see it happens again.
Was riding at 115 to 118 kmph constantly yesterday, guess what it didnt die, & I didnt feel any lag or anything, I will give a try few more times and see how it goes.Thank you agian.

There can be an issue with the fuel lid also. Sometimes the lid doesn't allows the air to pass, especially at high speeds and lack of fuel in carburetor causes the bike to shut off.
This classic problem was present in Karizma ZMA. The solution was to open the fuel cap and close it after a few seconds.
I say to check the carburetor settings as B7ACKTHORN has suggested.

Also, can anyone tell me the cost of the stock MRF tyres? Do I need to visit separate Tyre shops or do the SVCs stock them enough when I need a replacement?

P.S. - http://goo.gl/d6z6N8 (For reference, why the rubber strip is not safe in the long run and more of a temporary momentary solution)

http://goo.gl/W8FCHJ (Something I found that did the job easier)

Pocket Tire Plugger: Amazon.in: Health & Personal Care (Wonder if there is something for cheap)
You can use the normal stripped ones for puncture uses. The severity of the punctures a tire can take is the degree of the puncture itself. Some punctures just make a small hole like a small nail or a small screw. But, if some sharp objects like steel metal plates and long rivets tear the tire sideways and then we have trouble, be it vertically or horizontally. As long as the tire has good life, and the punctures are not severely horizontal and or vertical (rips, tears) a tire can handle pretty much n number of punctures. Once the tire tread has worn significantly enough and the punctures are frequent, it's very much imperative to change the tire as opposed to using repairing it with puncture kits. Riding with a bald tire is equally hazardous, especially the front.

MRFs cost from 3k to 5k depending on the tire.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

The svc near to my house uses motul engine oils. Yo can go for it. Use semi synthetic upto 5-6k kms. After then u cud move to full synthetic or stick to smi-synthetic oil only.

U can use this.

Its an 800ml bottle. An oil replacement will require 850ml, 950ml if the filter is changed as well. Also that oil is for marine motors, I dont know if its any different from Motorcycle engines but I wouldnt recommend going for it.

It's better and safe to go for Motul 5100 semi synthetic 1 litre packing. Atleast there will be peace of mind that you are using authentic product.

marine oil....didnt see that.... Ofcourse it cant be used.
Use svc recommended motul engine oils only.

Using any other brand of engine oil, it shoud meet the required JASO and MA standards and also grade too.
