i didnt check the mileage as it is under run in period... i got the black one i maintained under 4500 rpm till first service infact very difficult to maintain ... frequently i touch 7k rpm... at this speed the engine sounds like a race engine i will post the pictures after getting a good camera

Do follow manufacturer's instructions for run-in/break-in (check out the manual). Do not drive constantly in slow speed for long durations. Occasionally it is ok to exceed 4500 rpm but 7000 is way too high before first service.
      Waiting for your pics...

              • Hi All,
From past 4 years i'm using Pulsar 150 DTSi, but now planning to change the bike. Thinking of the GS and visited showroom 2 times, but not able to make my mind to get the one for me. The reason is the long handle bar which is not like pulsar's (short)... not yet test rided the bike
will it be comfortable enough to ride? need some suggestion...
By the time .. GS owners please share some pics

                    • Hi Sam
you have given the best reviews for the bike.I finally got the bike on 31 evening of march.Covered 230Kms in 6 days.
you mentioned some vibrations at 3.5k rpm.....how is it now? because i am also feeling those vibrations between 3.3K to 3.5k.I hope it smoothens after some use.
one more query....how much can you drive with temperory registration?
is it limited with time or Kms?

Thanks falgun, the vibs at 3.5rpm are there but are very feeble, you only notice if you are conscious enough to note else under normal driving conditons you dont notice much as anyhow its at much low rpm, and you zip pass that mark in a second.....

I think officialy its one month we can drive with temp reg. however in my previous bike I was not getting time to go to the showroom and get the number and so I drove the bike fr 4,5 months before getting the number....lol
