::LOL :: Using Motul 3000T cant be considered as modification as it comes with in the manual specified oil recommendations

1- While taking the delivery, what all shud i check in the bike?
2- How shud i maintain optimum mileage?
3- How do i understand that im being sold one of the newer models and not a 2009 model?

Kindly help me to make things clear for me.
Its raining mumbaitees here.......i am loving it.........hopefully will get to see these faces in a G2G......but sad also on other side as will be losing exclusivity if they come for a G2G......

      1. check if there are any scratches on any part.then check if all the electricals are working.then check if all the accesories are given.check if the brakes work properly while keeping the bike on main stand.check if the oil level window in engine and brake lever is showing full or not.
      2. to have the optimum mileage you will need to do a proper run in.refer this for details. http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...s150r-630.html post 6294 by animeher....and you need to vary speeds...i mean no constant speeds.....also refer manual for the tache readings to be maintained.....
      3. if the model is dual tone in colour i.e.the back will be black and the front will be either black/blue/orange/grey and the silencer is the sporty one i.e. its cut and not the full plate one and also check the stickers....they differ in old and new models.

      hope this helps you!

@amitine.....i know how it feels at those speeds on the odo.....but a kind suggestion WEAR the SAFETY GEARS.....and then drive insane!!!!
      ride safe bro!!!

So what actually happened.............can you tell us what exactly happened and what is the top end that you registered on your speedometer ???? Did you people really drag ????

A Suzuki Bandit pumps 105bhp of power and is good to go 235kmph on the top-side,it is a Sports-tourer of sorts.

It pretty shows the prowess of Motul Engine oil...........which I too use on my bike, would be switching to synthetic on the next service
After all Suzuki racing teams around the world use Motul for their performance machines.

But why are you unhappy with the default tyres? It seems that no one has earlier complained about the tyres.

If you are sure to change, buy Michellin, as Maestro said. It will provide more grip as it is made out of soft compound. But this tyre costs much more and its life will be less; less than half of the default one.

Thanks....bro... a relief to hear that....I can change the tyres....

Well I am not saying the tyres are really bad....but I do not get the confidence on the zapper Y.....I already faltered twice....in cornering....I just feel that the wheel will give away in cornering....and in wet...the zapper Y is horrible....I have ridden my friends CBZ extreme....which has the sam stock tyre...it is really dangerous in wet conditions...

Yes I too thought of going for Michelin.....which would you suggest in michelin....I went through their site.....I got M45 a M62 and Siraac or something like that.....
Which would you recommend....is siraac really worth...
well the cost is not a prob for me....safety and satisfaction is the ones I need.....

                        • go for a M45 if you need your bike to look decent and a sirac for a pure beast look....

I do not think so....many people have complained about the tyre...also many people have changed the tyre to a better one.....
as I said before I am not saying that the tyres are worst....but they are not upto my expectations....
In the MRF kitty I think the zapper Y is the most weaker one.....the zapper C and Q are excellent tyres....
Also...I do not think the life of the stock tyres is more.....boy it looks worn out even when it is new...

Ya Iam planning for the michelin one....but not sure which to choose....any suggestions are welcome...

There is no reason to think that it will adversely affect the warranty; I think. I am not sure about it. Ask the service centre engineer - not the mechanic about it.
+1 go for it if you are ready to sacrifice little bit on mileage part

Will mileage really affect if I even go for a same size tyre....but of a softer compound.....
or maybe a tubeless tyre......and I may get more mileage....!!!
