Its been long time since the last review in this thread.

Would be much helpful to know the long term report.

So this means that the impeller moves more rapidly because of this, thus making the coolant move more rapidly throughout its circuit.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Looking to buy a new brake fluid for the brake lines. Due to clip ons adjustment, we had to move the banjo bolts a bit. The clip on came off and banjo bolt was again readjusted.
Long story short - need to bleed the lines so need a Dot 4 brake fluid.
Online forums suggest 'Motul RBF 600 Dot 4' fluid. Let me know if this would be good for the R3 brake system with steel lines. It is currently working on TVS DOT4 fluid and HEL lines (do not ask me how it got there!).

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi Dinesh,
I visited Sri Motors and they seemed professional enough. The display vehicle is just for display. They didn't even allow us to sit on it. They have a blue&silver one for test rides. Regarding the waiting period, it seems that it's not so long. I had earlier visited the Yamaha showroom in Guduvanchery and both these showrooms have 1 bike of each color in stock. If you want it, it is available for immediate purchase and delivery.

I afraid they might be talking about the display bike. Dont know whether they did some revving while customer is coming to check the bike.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Looks like Yamaha is not really bothered about R3 sales figures in India. We can't expect KTM's level of marketing campaigns, but the least they can do is a better buyer experience for their higher-end bikes like R3.
In Bangalore, the dealers are also not keen on selling it. Went to Orion Motors and their response was very cold. They denied a test ride initially and treated me like someone who came to ask for hafta. Next was Vinayak Yamaha, Domlur. Their response was better, however they did not have a test ride bike. The only R3 there was, had a booking already. The sales guy told me he will contact once the bike is there for test ride. There was no response, so I again called them after 2-3 weeks, but they seemed un-interested.
Not that I want a test ride to buy the R3, but now I am re-thinking. If this is the response you get as a prospective customer, what kind of after sales support can we expect?Ooty solo trip | Kodaikanal (3 days) | Bekal-Kannur-Ooty | Valparai-Munnar
