Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Media has reported it will come in June , Ex-Yamaha guy i know said R-3 was BS-IV model which was registered has BS-III , according to his former colleagues still in Yamaha, 2017 might come with ABS as Option since ABS was only introduced this year in many market like USA only in 2017 , Price could go up by 20-25k . Slipper Clutch will not come in 2017 model but will come in revised model planned for 2019 .Originally posted by Javed Basheer View PostHello Awesome 3Some R3 Riders !

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hey Guys,
Need a quick info regarding chain slack.
Recently I went for 3rd service. Afterwards I noticed the bike's chain seems to be over tightened. I could feel a little vibration on my clutch lever whenever I declutch. I checked the chain slack and it was nearly an inch play if not more. Previously, I could go to 6th gear only after 70kmph, but now it urges at 56-60kmph. The engine braking also started to become more aggresive than earlier.
My questions:
1. What would be an ideal slack in this case?
2. Is my above feedback due to chain adjustment done?
3. Will the engine exerts more pressure due to over-tightened chain (The radiator fan kicks in early than usual after the service though the temp gauge still shows 3 bars)?
Thanks!

That's Typical Sales Pep Talk don't fall for it . Wait till Bike is launched officially , 90 day remark is due to lack of communication from the company .Originally posted by Javed Basheer View Post[COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87)]Vinayak Yamaha at Bangalore has no clue about the R3 however they are open to take booking for it @ Rs 10,000 with a wait time of 90 days and incase of cancellation they will charge Rs 1000 from dealership..

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
This is like a robbery. they dont have any clue about the bike. Yet they ask us to pay the advance amount. then there is a deduction for cancellation ?Originally posted by Javed Basheer View Post[COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87)]Vinayak Yamaha at Bangalore has no clue about the R3 however they are open to take booking for it @ Rs 10,000 with a wait time of 90 days and incase of cancellation they will charge Rs 1000 from dealership..
