The kind of feeling that R3 provides of being planted on road is way more than D390. You can feel the premium and it's refinement. And honestly being a careful city rider I don't really see the pro or con to the gizmos Duke provides. They are all just something good to have but nothing really you use if you are a cautious city rider.

Agree with you that r3 feels very premium as rides more refined and powerful. Also agree that all the goodies in duke is not of much use on our roads (slipper clutch/ ride by wire etc) but THE ABS IS WHAT IS THE MAIN THING & IS MISSING ON THE R3. That said @ 2.50 vs 3.60L

No-Go for the used one. No matter how well maintained. It can never match the quality and feel of a new one. Plus. No-abs !!!
Abs is a life saver. Specially in bikes of this category. If budget is a constraint, i'd suggest to go for the new duke
What i agree here with you is on the abs. But regarding a one year old bike done just 2-3k kms is as good as new.

Bro, honestly speaking these are two completely different machines with different purpose and nature. Don't go by the words if you are confused. Ride them both in the shortest time gap possible. You will know by yourself which one you can live with [emoji4]

Till then enjoy this confusion phase.. it has it's own memories. Happy hunting!

Depends on condition although 2.8-3.0L is good. please don't hope for ABS to be included in R3/N300 atleast by 2018.

                            Hello guys ,
Can anyone tell me the long term effects of not doing a proper break-in of a bike in its initial kms
Also is there any way to find out whether a proper break in is done or not?
Sorry for the off topic though!

ABS in 2017 model is highly unlikely. But the deal on the used R3 seems fine if the history is good.

Although i would go for new one instead of going for used one with that price difference. Just for the peace of mind and satisfaction.

                                Hi Dinesh,
Why do you think so ?
In US they have already launched the one with ABS. Since its a CKD, i dont think there should a challenge in terms of technology. The ABS unit/component just has to be assembled additio ally.
Plus, they anyway have to come out with an ABS model in 2018 due to govt. regulations. Why to have a new model each year is what they would probably think...
                                What do you say ?
