I did, and the sound was same, a very mild 'tak' sound
Alternatively, ask someone to hold the front disc tightly while you press the front brake and then compress the front suspension - you will not hear the sound.
let us try it out on your bike the next time we meet want to understand your perspective as well.
it could all be normal and unnecessary to worry about.

This is from the ball bearing assembly that holds the front fork's triple clamps.
when the top nut is a tad bit loose, it will make that sound.
Since this bike does not have a main stand that can suspend the front wheel in air you will not be able to see the front forks go back and forward.
You can test/replicate this issue on any bike that has a front drum brake.Hero Honda Splendor (June 2001- Present)

Had a tip over in the office parking.
Lost balance over a bump as I forgot to release the side stand. Bike fell on the right side slowly. No scratches(Thank God!!) except a small one on the right front fork.
Ride safe everyone!
Good to know you and the machine are okay. Side stand indicator and engine not starting when side stand on should be basic features... How come R3 missed these, we cant imagine... Finally heard someone saying frame sliders helped...
Happy and safe riding...
Let's take advantage of staying in Pune and plan a weekend ride with XBHP peopleBhargav.
