All bikes are in dust since last 3 months.
I am happy that even after 4 years of age, bike is problem free for short distances couple of times in a month in last 2.5 months.
I had Hero and Tvs both run up in issue after idling a week or two.------------------

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Nothing new going on in the vehicle market. Neither we are riding much to face problems.
Honda is in a really bad shape in India.
If one goes to the showroom, one can only buy <1 lakh ₹ sp125 or unicorn...or >15lakh ₹ Africa twin. Even if you go with 5 lakh rs you cannot buy anything [emoji1787] because there are no bikes.
The production was down and now when they started, some company wide network failure because of some cyber attack is crippling their manufacturing sites.
I for one was hoping to see some good bikes being released this year like maybe cbr300r or the rebel or the 500cc lineup, but I have lost hope now... nothing new till 2021, that also is doubtful.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Hi Guys,
My Hornet completed ~28500 km and almost 3 years. Seventh service cost me Rs. 2250/- including my second chain-sprocket change. Stock chain-sprocket was changed at ~15k km. There had been two maintenance visits in 2020. Battery retired after 27k km and 2.5 years of service. Front brake pads and fork oil changed for the first time. And headlamp low beam has blown one more time. These are not failures and just part of maintenance, so I would say, another happy year of ownership. My trusted transporter is still young and breathing fire…
Thank you all for the support.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Anyone know if I can just purchase the plastic fake carbon fiber only? If yes, how much does it cost? Also the plastic on top of the tail light? I need to replace these two plastics if anyone know I can just purchase these two instead of the whole tank and tail assemble? Also the parts number would be awesome.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
I changed my tanks fiber part for around ₹400. The tails lights fiber cost around the same. But mine has again started fading colour. Why do you change bro, yours look in great condition. That part loses it colour very fast, its better you stop caring about the colour of it. Else you will have to change it during every 9 months.Originally posted by himalayanodyssey View PostAnyone know if I can just purchase the plastic fake carbon fiber only? One issue with my bike is that when i would be driving at constant speed, lets say at 50-60 kmph in open highways, Suddenly the rpm would rise to all the way up and sound too and then it would come back down to normal. Happened many times while riding. When this happens i take the hands of acclerator. Apart from this i think my conset is also dead. While braking hard i can feel something rubbing against each other (think it's conset balls) and also hear some sound near the handlebar area while riding in rough roads.Originally posted by #bpk View PostAll owners are happy, it has zero issues.
