There is no cushion in this cover.Originally posted by raaz321 View PostBro how is the seat cover cushion ? is better than stock ?, my pillion complaining about hard seat so i need good seat cover with more cushion and also it should not spoil hornet looks. any other suggestions also welcome
However, OEM Honda seat cover is very slippery. Pillion and rider slips forward on breaks.
This seat material is really good. You can add extra cushion from local shop. Make sure add-on cushion should fit perfectly over original seat.
You can buy above cover or any other good cover and punch it well. If you want to buy you can directly call them from website and ask to loose seat cover.
I tried to fix cushion half seat at local shop, which went bad. I had to remove it.------------------

I added extra cushion from a shop i hardly felt any marginal difference between both. Seat height and width gets increased its good for is pillion but not much for rider. But won’t spoil looks as well.Originally posted by raaz321 View PostBro how is the seat cover cushion ? is better than stock ?, my pillion complaining about hard seat so i need good seat cover with more cushion and also it should not spoil hornet looks. any other suggestions also welcome
I asked another shop as well complaining about hard seat. He told me that after 6-7 months the original cushion becomes soft and comfortable. At initial stage its on the harder side but I wasn’t convinced so opted for extra cushion. Much better than original seat.
Try seat cover which have rough surface pattern. Avoid smooth ones where pillion rider slides upon while breaking.
Ps : while adding extra cushion seat cover needs to be changed as well as the size increases.Last edited by Rohit3235; 11-06-2018, 03:34 PM.

Headlight is not poor, adjust the beam with the help of a star screwdriver. It's ok for city use. From factory headlight beam is pointed upwards ,you need lower the headlight beam [emoji65]Originally posted by rkurre View PostHi own, 160r ABS DLX, 2018 version, headlight is very poor, any guidance on how to change it,not interested in Auxillary lights.

Just to add, make sure to adjust the beam while you're sitting on the motorcycle as laden weight affects beam direction.Originally posted by #bpk View PostHeadlight is not poor, adjust the beam with the help of a star screwdriver. Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Today my Hornet wasn't starting in gear while I was in traffic. After coming home, when engine cooled down, it started while in gears . Idk why this happened?
It would just show no response when I pressed the self-switch and jumped a little when I kick started. Now it's working fine.

I think you might have missed to pull the clutch lever when you tried self start. If in gear, you'll not get any response without disengaging the clutch while trying to start. I faced this too once and realized I was in gear and pulled the clutch, then it started.Originally posted by aishwary23 View PostToday my Hornet wasn't starting in gear while I was in traffic. Maybe something's up with the clutch plate.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Guyzz , today I saw a fatal bike skid happened near close to me..
Actually the person was riding yamah r15 , he was riding around 80/90 kmph... But there was a speed braker (kind of big), but without any indicators such as no radium/white paints.. as a result that person didn't noticed the breaker and he rode over it , the bike got jumped (noticable high) and skid , dragged over to some distance ( I duno whether he mangaed to put brake or else because of imbalance it fallen).. he got more tearing of skins all over the body...then I stopped my bike and made his bike park sideby road and tried my best to get him first aid...
My query is , where to complain (online/contact number) about this kind of idiotic formation of speed brakers without making any indicatiors nearby...
That route was my office route, even me sometimes forget about that braker and rode over that in some high speeds, luckily I can manage to balance my bike after that jump...
Feeling anger over this officials who involved in maintenance of road...Last edited by gowthamh; 11-07-2018, 01:58 PM.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Same thing happened with me one time, i was doing nearly at 75 to 80 kmph, suddenly i saw a series of speed breakers near kaziranga national park, i applied brakes hard and luckily due to abs, but speed breaker sign should be visible before a breaker, otherwise fatal accident can happen.Originally posted by gowthamh View PostGuyzz , today I saw a fatal bike skid happened near close to be..

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Daily, so many bike/car riders/pillions all over the nation are suffering because of this kind of improper formation of speed brakers.., I think someone within us has to complain about itOriginally posted by #bpk View PostSame thing happened with me one time, i was doing nearly at 75 to 80 kmph, suddenly i saw a series of speed breakers near kaziranga national park, i applied brakes hard and luckily due to abs, but speed breaker sign should be visible before a breaker, otherwise fatal accident can happen.Last edited by gowthamh; 11-07-2018, 01:31 PM.
