How much kilometers have u covered addy, i don't have taken it to high speeds yet, I've taken it to 101 kmph max, due to traffic i had to slow down.Originally posted by addy@4814 View PostReally??
In my X-Blade, 60kmph comes at 4k rpm
70kmph=5k rpm
80kmph=5.6k rpm
90kmph=6.3k rpm
100kmph= 7k rpm
110kmph=7.8k rpm
120kmph=8.6k rpm
130kmph=9.3k rpm

No friend. They are accurate. I have observed lot of times.Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostUnicorn 160 was nearly the same (though I suspect that the RPMs you mentioned are slightly off) only thing it never crossed 118 (IIRC) for me. Hornet and unicorn/xblade have different gearing.

Took it to 115Kmph today at 8.5k rpmOriginally posted by #bpk View PostHow much kilometers have u covered addy, i don't have taken it to high speeds yet, I've taken it to 101 kmph max, due to traffic i had to slow down.
7.5krpm - 89kmph- 4th gear
6.5krpm - 55kmph - 3rd gear
(Rpm maybe slightly different I was constantly looking for dogs/bulls on the road/NH24)

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
They're slightly off I guess, not a big deal. The speedometer has 4 segments for every 1000rpm, 80 comes up at around 5750rpm, 90 at around 6500 (+/-100). The remaining speeds are the same except 120+ (which I cannot verify as I've never seen those speeds).Originally posted by addy@4814 View PostNo friend. They are accurate. Quite relaxed, even the gixxer had similar gearing.Originally posted by #bpk View PostThen blade is best suited for touring, very relaxed rpm for a 160cc [emoji106][emoji106]Last edited by Shashank K R; 11-08-2018, 08:26 PM.

You sure?Originally posted by addy@4814 View PostUnicorn has 4 segments. X-Blade has got 3 segments.

They both have 4 segments addy@4814.
Nonetheless, I like the engine on the unicorn 160 and xblade. Very eager and tall geared.Last edited by Shashank K R; 11-08-2018, 08:45 PM.
