Cold engine should started with choke. Also see if fuel is ON position. Read the manual boss.

It doesn't feel heavy in traffic but it may be due to me being heavy and quite tall.even in b2b traffic it feels light but you may feel otherwise.best thing you can do is take a test ride .

Very correct answer... Not even cold engine it is better to start engine with choke and then closed the choke abd leave vehicle at least 30 -60 sec to get warm...

For heaviness during traffic, better check in test ride for > 2 km.
Rest, at normal speed, 40-70 you won't feel any vibration.

I have not faced any cold start . Able to start in a kick.

I too didn't face cold start till now but today I faced the issue.sometime before it was not used for 3 days but it still started in first self .may be the issue was due to low fuel or low quality fuel I had just 100ml over reserve.

My uncle's pulsar 180 used to start at first start attempt itself when tried with self start. It is equipped with Amaron Dry battery (maintenance free). I guess battery may be the key here..

                              First service update :
                              Kms done :535
Total cost of service:344 rupees only
                              Time taken:45 mins
Just got the first service done at aadi Honda malakpet svc.service experience was very good and service done in 45 mins due to a known mechanic.oil was changed with Honda 10w30 oil ,brakes were checked along with chain tightening. Bike feels smooth and sounds good.total cost was 344 rupees.when asked about the rust spots ,came to know that it wasn't rust and was present on new hornet's and unicorn's. All in all it was a very good experience.
Just to compare I took a test ride at showroom and the tr bike feels more responsive.when enquired they said that after clocking some kilometers my bike would behave same.I don't know whether it's true or otherwise.

                              • Dealer asking whole amount

                                Hello folks!

Just a little help needed. I am going to have my first bike. And it is Honda CB Hornet 160r. I have booked the bike by giving the booking amount even before the bike was launched in my city( Kozhikode, Kerala). Though launched, I haven't received my bike yet. The dealers are saying the bike hasn't come to their stock just yet.

Now the dealer is saying that bike would be in their stock by thursday (28-01-2016) and will be sold from Saturday ( 30-01-2016) onwards. Since I had requested the dealer to give it to me as soon as possible as I want to leave with the bike to a different state( Manipal, Karnataka), he asks me ( read nagging) to give him the full amount of the bike right now so that he could give me the bike on Saturday as soon as it arrives. Now my doubt is, is this really a practice? This is my first purchase of a first hand vehicle. I thought, only after seeing the bike and doing a PDI we sign any papers or give them the whole amount. Am I wrong? I really need some advice from knowledgeable people here. Thank you.

Ps: the dealer here is a reputed one, by reputed I mean, they have the biggest showroom of Honda here. And almost everyone in the city knows this particular showroom. And one more thing, the bikes here, we do get almost any bike in the commuter segment without any delay ( fz, fz fi, unicorn, fazer, even r15, all scooters), this bike has delay only because even the first lot hasn't reached the showroom(thats what I have gathered, I don't know if that helps in answering my query)
