I'll be getting my Granite H in a week or so. Can anyone share PDI checklist?
Does anyone know if Engine / Crash guard is available in Pune? It is not available with dealer yet (Bramha motors).
Sometimes it takes tankfull of fuel before you can think wise

Waiting period in bangalore is currently 3-4 months but you might get it sooner since the demand has gone down since the beginning.

About Aux lamps, this bike has 55w headlamps with a good spread, so projector aux is not required. You can fix flood lights pointing it at about 50meters ahead for off-roading. This will illuminate the objects on road which you might have to dodge while off-roading.

I will absolutely not recommend it using in city, since it might blind the oncoming traffic. Also, there is one very detailed thread on xbhp called "let there be light" which should answer lot of generic questions.

                      Hey guys,

Booked my Himalayan today, will be getting it in 2-4 months. Can't wait now as this will be my first bike of my own money. I ride Bajaj Discover100cc 2006 model.

But there is something I noticed which is kind a weird. I have Bikewale app and it showed the ex showroom price as ₹1,68,410.
But the showroom guys gave me ₹1,58,470. Has there been a price hike or RE guys have added some new feature hence the hike ?

                      Can someone confirm this ?

                        Hike or discount of 10k.
                        1.68>1.58 right?

There was no discount for sure. I knew the ex showroom price when they launched was ₹1,55,000 and now the showroom gave me ₹1,58,470. But some websites and app are reporting it around ₹1,68,000.

My concern is not the money. If they've added something I don't mind paying for it. Just scared that I'll be getting motor cycle without upgrades/fine tuned.

Yes. There is a 3% road tax hike in maharashtra for 300cc and above. When i booked himalayan it was around 1.72L OTR pune. Now i ll be making total payment before delivery and price now is around 1.78L OTR pune.

                                Hello Guys,
Its been an experience from the time I have booked my mountain goat obviously the HIMALAYAN (Granite).....
Have read several reviews watched countless videos finally the wait is over. Will get mine delivered in a weeks time.
I am no pro so all the specs talks is just FYI for me.... If I could give a layman's review. I fell in love with the machine at first sight.
The time I fired the monster it did deliver the roar n sound I expected (Wicked).
Handling gave me lot of confidence.
I will be looking forward for adding the AUX Light and the Crash Guard gradually.
You guys have been really helpful with all the feedback.
Will definitely upload pics and experience of my first ownership ride.

                                LIVE SAFE RIDE HARD...... Regards,
