Hey. How does the Michelin compare to metzelers. How does it handle in twisty roads and in wet conditions. How much did it last for you vs the metzeler.

Please don't be an idiot like me, always keep enough fuel in the tank.
I do exactly the same. Riding in low fuel till the red reserve blink comes on. I'll try not to do that again.

Just sharing my observation regarding fuel levels. Many a time i have refuelled my bike when the expected range to empty was 10-20km. Even then only approximately 11 litres of petrol would completely fill up the tank to the brim. This means that even then there was some 2-2.5 litres of petrol left which I feel should be enough to keep the fuel pump happy. Just sharing my two cents, don’t recommend anyone to try and later regret it.

I am very impressed with Michelins, the wet and twisty road handling was very good just a little bit less stickier than the metzelers as expected. I think Michelin is the best tyre for indian road conditions, mine lasted 32k and still had tread left. Now I have switched to Pirelli rossi II.

That is the CEL, Check Engine Light or MIL, Malfunction Indicator Lamp. Usually, this light should turn off once the engine is cranked and running. If this light stays on constantly after the engine is running or when riding the motorcycle, it's advisable to get it checked on your nearest SVC and get it diagnosed using a diagnostic tool, as it could mean a fault code registered. Keep your observations posted.

Peaceful or not, it purely depends on what the owner invests after doing his homework. KTMs are pretty hot headed, so tantrums show up here and there, but nothing significant to hamper the ownership or ride experience. The new kid on the block, the Apache 310RR can be a viable option. Nonetheless, it's a pocket rocket that doesn't compromise on the fun factor.

                    Cheers!

am sure the bike has a similar dilemma when being considered by a potential owner
as VJ pointed out, a lot of the 'issues' end up being user created/invented, so do not expect it to be like a 100cc and then whine about 'heat' , 'vibrations', service/spares costs etc.. these bikes have some parts that don't exist on certain bikes, like the liquid cooling, usd forks and as with any mechanical parts, they might fail (though instances of their premature failure are almost negligible now) and when they do, either get it fixed under warranty and if you are out of warranty shell out and get 'em fixed.

these days, one look at the chain and i can judge how well a person cares for his bike. buying is easy, taking care of it requires some common sense and a bit of effort.

rather than take our word for it, better ask him to RIDE the bike a few times before deciding to buy it.. going only by someones review or material on the internet isn't right imo.

Could you explain a bit on the two please. If my memory serves me correct, the last update to the TFT was v42 firmware. Can you share a screenshot of your TFT console, where is mentions the version number. Secondly, can you explain a little as to what was done to the rear seat? Was it just removed and refixed or, which part of the seat was touching the light, a photo perhaps, could help us all.

PFA photos of rear seat which shows that some pads are attached on back side of seat and seat height is increased few 3-4 mm and now there is some gap in between tail light and seat
