      Guys,
You might already know this but thought of sharing this anyway. I have ridden duke 250 for 500 kms so far and each time it went through bad roads I could feel the shocks directed towards my back. Not something serious but quite uncomfortable. The problem was I was riding it in a total upright position.
But then I tried riding it in a slight bent position with some forward lean (bent at the elbow) and gripping the tank with the legs (same like riding a sports bike R15 / RC but not so bent) and it has solved the problem. Also you get a better grip and that gives you much better control in handling the bike. Confirmed that this is a good way to ride street bikes from the net too.

        Hi...!!

Any one shifted from the Japanese?

can someone brief how does the built quality, fit and finish feel compared to the Japanese ?

Whether the new gen duke has become much more reliable and on par with the Japanese product ?

        Thanks.

          Hi everyone!

Nikunj here, started riding and my first bike is the Duke 250 .

Bought this beast on april 13th and just completed 500km yesterday (i know it took a lot of time, thanks to my internship).

I have few questions, first being is the fuel indicator on the console a little buggy as in does it show a bar of fuel either less or more on various occasions? Also can you guys suggest how do i measure the mileage (because of this fuel gauge showing the wrong fuel indication i am not understanding how to measure it)?

Thanks and congratulations to all the owners of the Duke250

It seems people have a fundamental duty to inform you that "light jal rahi hai"

One thing I'd ask, how is the gear shifting smoothness (whether upshift or downshift) in your bike? I sometimes find it to be clunky and get a feedback on my fingers when I downshift (even though the clutch lever is fully depressed). Anybody with the same experience?
No feedback on the fingers but upshift 2-3 is a little louder at times. Downshift is very smooth.

Even I get can failure error but mostly when the fuel is low. I was also informed while I bought the bike that I may see "a few errors" which I assume is can failure error as this is the only error I've come across till date. Nevertheless, it must be solved in the firmware update.

Even I am not facing any feedback on the fingers while changing gears. Initially for me gear change had good clunk feel. I felt it got smoother now after riding it for 600 kms.

What about the accessories? Have you guys put any? I'm not sure if this is the right thread to discuss this.
