No frozen links as well, only thing changed was the master lock, which lasted 30k kms inspite of me installing them without the O Rings, though this time the new lock is properly installed with O Rings.

At times, too much care results in too much wear.

I got your point about too much care resulting in more wear, and the thought process that too much cleaner like kerosene may over long duration damage O-rings etc. Although I clean every 700-800 kms I use kerosene in very moderate quantity and ensure to wipe it down completely before applying oil. Also never too much oil as I hate it spilling on rear wheel and dripping down from from sprocket area after ride. But will anyway do it more sensibly. Is it better to use diesel than kerosene?

I honestly have no clue bro. The current chain set has never been cleaned.

Gear oil, Bearing grease etc are really messy but helps return better chain life. Sadly that's the trade-off.

Its really amazing you are getting 30K plus Kms without any chain cleaning and only lubing!! I guess you have a full chain cover.

It's an open chain guard as mines a Pulsar 220.

Here's a pic of the same taken sometime ago when I dropped the motorcycle, notice that even after 30k kms she almost has the entire adjustment range left.

I do have the same question, bro. But I saw Bosch brake pads for RTR both front and rear in Amazon. From reviews provided by the user were positive and if I remember correctly, one said it was better than stock. I upgraded by brake lines to steel braided hose. Now the progression and bite increased. but the bite is very slightly increased and I can say it is negligible. Also I replaced my brake fluid more than 6 times. I used TVS dot3, TVS dot4, Bajaj/HP Dot4 and Motul. Now I’m running with Motul. Out of all the four, Bajaj/HP fluid was impressive. Yet to try shell Dot4 and liqui moly.

What is the suggested replacement interval for brake fluid? My front brake is behaving strangely. There is no bite until almost halfway through the lever, and then suddenly it bites full. There is no progression. Also sometime the lever will become hard with a slight press like the brake has engaged, but brake has not engaged (this is dangerous).

Maximum Every 2 years. As brake fluid attract moisture (hygroscopic) from atmosphere. RTR uses TVS DOT3 from factory, they are not performing up to the mark. Use Dot4 fluids. I personally recommend Bajaj/HP fluid. Also remove and clean the front brake lever. Then add some grease.

Also I have replaced my master cylinder after 15k odo reading, as the seal in master cylinder started to tear. After replacing master cylinder , I found the older unit had so much dust.

Hello guys. My bike's exhaust started to leak oil. Had to change piston cylinder kit under warranty.
Total kms on odo was 8200 kms.
ASC people could not explain the reason of it. They only said that piston ring got damaged and oil started to enter combustion chamber.
Not able to digest this reason.
Can someone explain what could have happened?

My bike was serviced regularly at asc and oil was regularly changed.

Can be due to manufacturing defect and just bad luck or SVC guys might have not used the right quantity engine oil during service which might have caused rings to wear out prematurely. The speculation could go on. But, I'm not sure how good or bad your engine cylinder was, but I would have recommended replacing both piston and bore for peace of mind.

But, it's disheartening to hear engine opened at such low KMs. Make sure you periodically check engine oil level, make sure no smoke or anything unduly is observed after the replacement.

                        Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                        THE END

The exhaust is still leaking oil but oil level in is steady. May be the remaining oil which was already in exhaust is leaking now.
Yes, i was very sad to see this happen.
As you suggested, will check oil level frequently to see whether the work is done properly or not.

Sorry to hear this mate! But on the bright side it was fixed under warranty. This being a manufacturing defect is very very rare IMO, but not an impossibility. Possible reason is low oil level and could be that SVC poured in a 1L bottle instead of 1.2L, as for some time in mid-late 2018 and early 2019 TVS was not shipping the 1.2L bottles we have now. During my 1st oil change in Sep 2018 I clearly remember SVC using two 1L bottles to change oil. After every oil change service I will manually inspect oil level as we cannot trust the SVC 100%. Nowadays I buy the oil and filter and change in local workshop in front of my eyes.

Guys, is 7000 RPM and approx. 85 km/hr a safe speed to maintain for long duration like 1-2 hrs in our bike? I am panning a long distance ride on 160 4V.

I a 250 km trip with speed varying from 80 to 90. I suggest you stick tk 80 kmph and avoid 85 kmph.
I suspect my trip for the problem i faced as mentioned on few posts earlier.
