    If your RTR160 4v is Fuel injected then No alteration is needed to install a 55/60 watt bulb.

    If your having carb then you can install a Led with 35/40 watt.

      I dont want to use an LED bulb, I want to use the normal 55w halogen bulb on carb version of 160 4V. So any other alteration required or do I just swap the 35W for 55W.

            Get the bike checked for any issues.
            Check tyre air pressures.
            Wear protective gear. Never neglect safety.
            I might sound like a old guy saying all this, but being safe is better than being sorry.
            All the best and take tea breaks in between 100-150 kilometers.

                  The newer BS6 bikes that are coming out have lost upto 1 bhp power. So, it's upto you now. You want to have newer looking bike or more powerful bike.

                    I want the smoother riding bike😊... the buttery smooth one where you dont feel no vibes at 65ish speed. I sold my 3 month old NS200 only 3500km done cause of the vibes, did a test ride of the 160 4V and yeah... that's all she wrote

                      1604v is the smoothest bike in this segment. Go for it right now. BS6 will lose power and price will be increased.

                        Now susheel TV's not have any experienced technicians.... Lot of major issues on my bike they are not recognising and at least not checking my bike after servicing .

                          You can’t use 55w bulb. I have personally experienced by swapping a 55w bulb for 35w in 160-4v carb. As soon as the bike starts, the bulb goes on for a second and it’ll go Off. You have to change the magneto coil in order to use 55w bulb. As the magneto coil in carb generates lesser power than in FI.

                            Just wanted to know if there is any member here from Ahmadabad.
                            I have completed around 5000 km and done with 3 services. But i am not happy with the service center here.
                            So if someone is from Ahmadabad, Please share which service center you visit.

                            PS. I bought the bike in March'19 from Kataria TVS, have been visiting the same for getting the service done since then.

                                The bike doesn't feel smooth as before. I can feel vibrations even at around 65kmph, and the sound has changed.
                                I told these things to the mechanic during the third service. He is a young guy, told me i have checked everything and the bike is fine.
                                Since this is my first bike, my knowledge is also very limited, so I am not sure about the issue. That's why I am looking for a good experienced mechanic.
                                I am not even sure if its only in my head.
