    4. Too aggressive with dealer setup and absolutely clueless to even deliver 1 bike per dealership?
    5. Dealerships are clueless too because the company is not informing them anything.

There ARE jawa's getting delivered and if I from a non-metro place can see them,It surely is happening
The dealerships were clueless but the situation has greatly improved now
I don't understand why giving relief is a cause for hatred

This is a great chance for the vintage classic industry to have some good competition,Jawa is seriously getting up to its feet now.
The deliveries are trickling down but are Happening
Again from a non metro,If the jawa showroom here is capable of delivering bikes.Other jawa showrooms in bigger cities should have done it too.
Maybe try again going to the showroom you already have visited and you should feel a change.

But the point 3,4 are wrong and I humbly ask you to recheck.

P.S:All of this is based on my observation on the jawa showroom in my place.

The sales numbers for Jawa is 0 for April and May. This is officially counted numbers so not sure where is the sale happening.
Do check a couple of posts above and you'll see an attachment where it shows 0 for April and May.
There are 2 dealers and apparently the birth place of Jawa - Pune.
I haven't seen a single one getting delivered yet. I have seen a couple of RE 650s but no Jawa.
Dealership ambiance apart, first product off to an extremely slow start was not the ideal way.

Continued, the hatred towards Mahindra., my 2 cents which all valid the way I have been feeling about things:

        6. Launch a Dual ABS model just after 1 month 1st round of bookings closed for Single ABS model and all this within 2 months of original launch event! Making the original event redundant and people who booked the bike very angry!
        7. Not related to Jawa(underneath it's a Mojo engine though), they have been testing Mojo ABS for 2+ years now, they have completely killed Mojo for now with no launch date for ABS model.
        8. The leaked Mojo ABS(which will be now a single model with no XT/UT) has lost most of things that people liked the bike for in the first place like USD forks, 2nd silencer, Pirelli Diablo Tyres, how much did the save money on each bike that was already selling low in numbers?
        9. What about Perak which most of them loved and are waiting? Can we see it by 2025? Mahindra has the world record for testing Mojo for 5+ years from the time it was originally showcased, will the same happen to Perak?
        10. Will the same be the case with their BSA, Peugeot motorcycle brands that they are trying to revive along with Jawa parallely, too ambitious and concentrating on so many things simultaneously instead of focusing on single brand before moving forward another brand.

Yes I do have seen them and As far as i know Reporting to SIAM by its members is not MANDATORY
          Jawa
is held by M&M through CLPL.So,Maybe we are gonna see numbers through CLPL from now on.
It can be like Jawa isn't gonna give us the numbers anymore or they are now a seperate entity and will report seperately.

I don't think it is fair to compare the present day enfield with jawa.
Maybe enfield was the same as jawa before sid,But since then they had enough time to ramp up to who they are now.
They were however were comparable to jawa and had similarly bad cc along with dreadful waiting times

Again I am not supporting jawa blindly,All I want is a worthy competitor to RE

          Good day

This is the bigger problem - lack of knowledge and information.

Number of credible reviews by official/known/popular reviewers / automobile news agencies - ZERO
Number of credible ownership (heck even a simple ownership report) on automobile forums like xbhp/tbhp - ZERO
Number of public announcements on future strategy/changes backed by actual execution within the committed timelines - ZERO
Number of existing and credible service stations that have migrated into Jawa service centers - ZERO

There are many more issue points, but trust you get the point. There is nothing wrong for CLPL in sharing numbers, especially if now the deliveries are in full swing. It's the hiding of information that's a BIG problem.

These are not one-time consumption items that we are purchasing; it's a multi-year long term ownership product; we need to be able to trust the brand and the organization. I'm all in for increasing the competition, heck RE's been having it easy all these years without a proper apples-to-apples competitor. But let's call a spade a spade.

If one needs to compare a new bike launch, compare the RE's Twins launch with the Jawa's Twins launch. The former has incredible and detailed reviews with 6 month feedback reviews from domestic and international sources. Jawa has ZERO.

I don't think it is fair to compare the present day enfield with jawa.

Jawa benefited from the changes in the motorcycle industry over the years and the vast info of what worked for Royal Enfield and what didn't over the last decade (and earlier). So it's very much proper to compare Jawa's current situation with RE's current situation.

Also remember RE's got a lot of flack over the last decade for delayed deliveries, opaque delivery schedules, shoddy products (remember the first version of Himalayan). So I'm all in for telling it upfront to Jawa on the way they have managed this debacle of a launch. Hopefully by year 2, they actually take in the feedback and improve.

I'm not sure why the sales numbers shows that Jawa's are zero , the other day I saw one in Chennai black Jawa it was stunning to look at.
Also my personal take on the delayed deliveries is that they might be testing the bike and might have found something that needs to be fixed. They don't wanna botch the sales with YouTube videos showing defects as they spread like a wild fire. I understand the frustration of customer who was promised something and didn't even get a proper communication. But this is still a new company and it may be part of Mahindra but its still a subsidiary and the industries around the world struggle alot with supply-chain management, getting that right is difficult part. Lets hope next month brings good news.

Yes I do and that is what i reiterate too

Jawa told they'd launch the perak soon,But have postponed it to year end now. That's an indication that they have understood the magnitude of the problem they are in now and are trying to fulfill the bookings for the jawa and 42,before getting into another bike.

If all they wanted was the booking amount, they could have just opened up accepting bookings for the perak right?
and showrooms have now started to give out realistic deleivery schedule of 8 to 9 months.
M&M for one,Might never ever had even a fraction of the demand that jawa has now and surely has failed to anticipate it.
There might be works going on in ramping up production but we all know that it is a time consuming process to do,As it is not only a part of the manufacturer but also the work of the suppliers of the parts for the bike.

I can see things that are getting improved but i sincerely hope that their service is upto the mark without any higgles as RE has
As you said,This is a long time ownership product and thus the quality of service provided and also the service costs play a huge role.

people who have already got a jawa and are neither penning down a post in any of the forums except sharing some couple pictures.

All was fine for JAWA until they started to accept bookings and things started to fall of when the time for delivering came which might indicate troubles in sourcing parts from suppliers and production constraints. Let us give them the benefit of doubt and hope that they rectify their mistakes very soon and give us a piece of our childhood memories

Everyone here wants the Jawa to succeed and bring some tough fight to RE CL monopoly, they have taken step in the right direction already with bringing great looking package to the market and brilliant pricing for the bike.

We just expect them to pick there things, bring in more transparency, promise people of only what they are capable of and not over promise and under deliver.

People are ready to wait for 8 months, only that we want some more closure like what's my waiting slot number or total bookings received until now stuff like that.
Even when RE had 1year+ waiting, you atleast knew your waiting slot number per dealer and a expected VIN range that you might get your bike from, also a possible date when that VIN range is going into production.

Like you said lets hope they correct their mistakes, sort out their supply chain issues (if they have any) and get a point where anyone can walk into a dealership and ride out the bike in less than 2hrs or withing next day like with the RE CL or pretty much like other company bike nowdays.

Saw two Jawa 42's being ridden by the owners with TR plates at Mysuru on Saturday. One was a Nebula Blue and the other was an unidentified colour as it was passing in a blur. A couple of weeks earlier, saw one at KR Puram at Bengaluru which bore a Lumos Lime shade. I guess it's safe to say that Jawa have started deliveries and it's just that no owner has come up with an initial ownership review/observations. The wait is real now!

Deliveries of dual ABS variants have started.

Meet the first owner of Jawa dual channel ABS. Bike was delivered by Nagpur dealership. Jawa is behind schedule as many customers await delivery.

I had booked Jawa 42 Nebula Blue back in November 25th and switched to dual ABS variant as soon as the option was available online. I guess I will get it by the end of July or early August.

I don't know about other cities brothers but the Jawa dealer in Noida sure is having a steady delivery pipeline. Visited them and had a nice look around in their showroom and yard. They have 5-6 bikes in stock up for delivery and expecting shipments every week. The first set of customers have come in for 1st and 2nd service and so far so good based on what the store people told me. Also lately I had been veering away from Jawa despite having booked last year. However a longish (3-4km) test ride yesterday has me interested in it again. The bike is really good and well balanced, especially compared to its competitors from RE. I don't know what they did exactly but the power delivery is great. Bike pulls well and feels good even at speeds that aren't thrilling. Owners are also supposedly reporting average of nearly 40! I test rode duke 200, RTR200 and Jawa 42 back 2 back and while the duke was duke and the RTR was smooth, the jawa is the ride that I liked the most. Have just got to compare it to xpulse before going ahead and closing the deal

Some pertinent problems of the jawa in my view are the following:

                              1. Anemic instrument panel. Looks cool but could be way better functionally. Very little in it for a modern bike.
                              2. Fit and finish isn't the best. Ugly welds, tiny paint chipping and uneven pin striping abound. I bet we will learn more as ownership reviews get over honeymoon period.
                              3. Foot peg interference while trying to reverse "walk" the bike. This is the same with most RE bikes including 650.
                              4. Fleecing over accessories.
                              5. Pillion seat is almost unusable without a backrest. Especially with the generous proportions of the typical Indian uncle(paunch+mid life crisis) who will be riding it.
                              6. Also the oafs and buffoons such bikes inevitable draw in due to their "macho" image. Met several at the showroom. The day of jawas adorned with tigers and skulls and trishuls isn't far. Can we have a gentleman's bike left alone please?
