I want others to reply, but what the heck.
I use the single seat with cowl, the seat is very stiff as compared to the stock seat, the stock seat is very soft so when you swap them you feel a lot of difference in the stiffness.

The single seat is flat and with hard edges, normally the sides are round but this one has sharp edges which dig into your thighs a little bit when you put your feet down.

I found it uncomfortable when i went to a 200 kilometer ride, but the seat looks very cool and enhances with Cafe racer look, what you can do is get the foam changed to a softer one, or use the single seat for city use and stock seat for touring, which i do. They are very easy to swap, hardly take 5 minutes.

Moreover i have swapped the continental gt seat with an interceptor's one(with a friend) as the rear seat of gt tapers down at the back making the pillion rider to slide down and making it uncomfortable to sit, while the Interceptor's seat tapers up making it very comfortable for the pillion rider.
    Peace

I remember someone on this thread mentioning LED replacements for the headlamps. Is there an LED bulb that fits in the stock H4 ECE? Or would I have to change the entire housing to get an LED in there? Could someone please recommend good LED bulbs if changing the unit is not required?

H4 led bulb will fit directly, no need to change anything, the most common brand is night eye, it costs around 1000-1200, available on Amazon as well as on all Automobile accessories shop, the low beam is good, but high beam isn't.

Just search night eye on youtube and you'll get tons of videos, replacing the bulb is so easy you can even do it at home. The videos are very detailed, comparison, light throw, comparison with other leds.

There's one more brand called auxbeam, expensive than nighteye but has good high beam as well. Do watch the videos, do some research and then make the decision.

You can order from alibaba as well, sellers on Amazon order from there only.
        Peace

              Hi Guys,

I am not very regular in posting here, though an old member of the group. I have booked a GT "Ice Queen" online. Being on ship I am stuck here for good, awaiting International flights to operate. Till then reading and gathering more and more information about the bike. This thread is pretty good and has lot of valuable information.
I should get my hand on it straight away as soon as I return
Good to read and learn from people's ownership experience. This would be an addition to my garage of 3 bikes
Wait is going to be long and hard......as per the present scenario.
I am not even sure if RE is producing any bikes as of now, someone can share if he has some update on the same.

              Ride Safe
              Cheers...!!!

That must be very frustrating but what can we do
In the meanwhile you can also read the ownership thread on tbhp forum, here it is, the discussion starts after the review, will tell you a lot about the bike

Have you got the confirmation for your account from tbhp? And even after you get it takes some time before we can post something, so just wait.

So what are the accessories which you're planning on getting?

RE is producing bikes, albeit a little bit slowly (Source: Friend who works for RE). So, do not worry. In all probability you should have your Ice Queen shortly after the showrooms reopen, if not immediately after!

                        No nothing from TBHP yet.

I have not shortlisted yet, but what I plan is to modify the whole bike to a bad ass looking cafe racer. So accessories will be ordered accordingly.

At the moment chances of me returning home looks bleak because all countries are locked out. Even if the production is slower I hope to get it when I return as they have ample time on their hand.

Hope you all are doing absolutely fine, staying safe indoors. I had a quick question as to what the screw hole like thingy om both the sides of the stock seat jn CGT 650 was for. Asked a svc guy and he had no clue. Thanks!

No issues...will stick to X-BHP then.

What all aftermarket exhausts are available in the market??? Not the cheap once.....but standard once.
I have seen a branding "Diablo"...not sure if that's the exhaust company or the modification company.
Those look short and nice with matt black color on them.
Anyone have some more info on the then please share...

I have got AEW ones and they are really nice, small in size and very light weight, sound nice too, with baffles you can't even tell if you are using after market exhaust unless you revv.
They come in many variants, only the finish varies, sound is same, chrome variant costs 9k whereas the stainless steel finish costs 16.5k.

Hi, I too have AEW's. They have very nice sound when you are under 2000 to 3000 RPM, above it its a screamer. While passing cops I press the clutch to make sure they do not hear the exhaust. Its not too loud, I am just being extra cautious.

The engine cover developed some stains, polished it out.

Under the lock-down I did not ride the GT but the battery is still working fine. I have completed 1900 Kms till date.
Hope to cover more miles soon.
