    all I am saying is that what i felt from my bike... it was a major noticeable difference when i shifted from tru4 to other oils..

    and till now i have tried 3 oil brands and i have got different experience from all 3
    The whole point of discussion started when the point came that changing to a better brand of oil increases the top speed, increases the acceleration and difference in the revvy nature of the bike, ie, by switching the oil, the throttle response has improved.

    This all cannot, and i mean cannot happen, even if you'll try 10000 brands of oil in W30 to W50 range.

    I have tried the TRU4, power 1, petronas, and motul.

    The only major thing noticable is the noice of the tappets in diff oils in case of RTR, and the "FEEL" of the shifts will vary.

    I'am telling this and i'll tell again and again specially in case of RTR, that one talks about this diff cuz one knows he has changed the oil, but if someone's gonna change the oil of your bike weekly, overnight, like one night -W30, second weeks night -W40 SS, and third weeks night W40 S, and so on, without you knowing it, you will NEVER know that the oil of the engine has been changed.

      Oh.. Yes. I too want to know who is talking about a 1800cc bike here on xBhp. I never commented on any SBK or 1800cc and neither do I found any guy here commenting on a 1800cc bike. Your post truely points towards mine. Could I please know what did I told wrong that made you felt that I am talking about a 1800cc bike? Please donot take any arrogance from this.

      P.S: And even if we were talking about a 1800cc bike my words would have been same.

        nothin man i was just trying to say that it wont increase the POWER of a bike...! hence the line 180 becomin a 1800 came up :P

                  its a kind a convertor which injects fuel back into the engine which is not fully combusted. it is connected to the air filter box. this air is passed again back to the carburetor for use. it increases mileage.

                    NO.

                    That device is for cleaner emissions, it injects air to the exhaust so that the harmful carbon mono oxide gets broken into lesser harmful carbon di oxide.

                              • Hey guys i am having some problem while shifting the gears. When i shift the gears from a higher one say 3rd gear to first gear or from 2nd gear to first, i hear and feel a rattling sound/effect in gear shifter.

                                These days its happening pretty frequently and when i run her for few kilometers and than shift to first gear the magnitude of the sound and feel increases. I have to use more than normal force to shift to 1st gear.
                                Have shown to Castrol Bike Zone mech in the service and he have opened and checked the clutch box assembly and found every thing fine.
                                It give me a feeling that the gears are not seating properly and its happening specifically while shifting to First gear.

                                Guys please help me here.
