  • hi friends...
i just want to share my experience with my friend's brand new rtr 180...
ride was good and riding position is sporty and comfy bt one can feel the vibes at between 4.5 to 6k rpm easily on handle bars n very minor vibes on foot pegs also...
I wana know that these vibes will reduce in future or not...???
I am very confused between rtr and zma-r as i am planning to buy a bike for me soon...
kindly put some light on rtr's mileage and maintainence part also...
    sigpic
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith and use up a lot of fuel....

NO the vibes will not reduce in future. Think about it as RTR trademark. However, you will get used to it

I have ridden the bike for some 6 months and never has the vibes bothered me to actually dislike the bike. The positives (acceleration, flickability, mileage, brakes) outweigh the negatives (vibes in 4.5-6k range, bad tyres)

Get a Hyper Edge if you want apache only with less vibes, unless you want a more powerfull bike.

Glad to hear that... my mileage has dropped 2-3kmpl now from the earlier 40kmpl after the engine heart replacement. So thats not a big issue. I was more worried about any possible impact in the throttle response. Now I cant wait to install it....

                      • Congrats Lijok for getting the exhaust. Im loving every bit of it and im sure you would too.

I had been to the service center today as my rear brake was getting jammed. Was advised that the disc needs to be replaced. i was also asked to replace the chain sprocket as it was worn out. My bike has run close to 20 k kms. Do yall think tat the replacement is justified. My rear disc got worn after replacing the brake pads and adjsuting the brake pedal play to avoid contact with the exhaust.

Same here. Mileage has dropped may be due to hard ripping/acceleration and deacceleration which is mandatory if we go by motoman runnin.

Earlier with pillon, bike on acceleration gives a feel of a slight struggle to pull but now it goes without any hitch like only one guy is on her.

Joel FFE will be an icing on the cake.

I changed the chain and sprockets at 21k. 20k is fine.
BTW, can you elaborate on the bold part please?

It wasnt really a straight swap. I had to fit an extra bracket to the rear footpeg as without that, the brake pedal was touching the exhaust.
