Dude...these are the speed markings....the max limit which each type of tire can sustain.

    Check these out!

    MT 75 , Motorcycle Tyres - PIRELLI

Sidewall - Pirelli Tire North America

Also, someone please let me know what is the impact on putting a pirelli? I read that Pirelli's are heavier and reduces pickup. Is it true??

It takes more love to share the saddle than it does to share the bed :)

First off,you need to find that tire.I tried to find one but all my efforts were to no avail..

Pirelli will be slightly heavier than the stock tire for sure.Grip would definitely be better. You can take feedback from some of the r15 owners as well. They are running with the 100-spec rubber.

      Good luck!
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

That was even available there before you pointed it out :P (talking about the last line in the MT75 page). If you know about this, mind sharing the details as in what speed limit can they sustain?

          Hey thank you for replies,
Guys today I went to Metro tyre, little ahead of lamingtone road Mumbai they have MT 75 with Apache RTR 180 direct fitment it'll cost around Rs.7000/- , he also told me he can offer some buy back for my set of TVS tyre (never told the actual cost for buy back) but he also suggest me to go for sports demon it's big in size but no hassles in fitting?i was shocked .
rest he also suggest me to go for IRC (he told pirelli is brand name but IRC is also good) can anybody put some light on IRC (which to buy & size) so i can cross check he is also holding some good stuff in IRC which is direct fit for both front & rear, or should I go for apna wala MRF pls guide (MRF saves lot money but MRF guys are not very good at responding they'll only sale what they have in stock they can't give you when new stock will arrive it's been 6 years experience start from shogun to RTR 180)

Hey!! Really nice to hear that you were able to twist the TVS guys like all here have been twisting the throttle on their RTR!!!

I haven't faced the tappet noise yet. Quite a few guys have had an issue with tappet noise. Dunno how to fix that! Engine noise? Not very sure! I don't want to advise you on anything I am not sure of!! If you can describe it better, I am sure that most of the guys here can advise you on the best way to fix it!

About the fact that your bike begs to be revved, I TOTALLY agree to that!!!

Why didn't you punch his nose when he told you that? 7k for MT75 tire? The 100-spec MT75 retails for around 2k here in Delhi. Also, inquire about the IRC and let me know how much he quotes.

I have changed the rear tire to IRC two weeks back.Till now,I am finding it good in every way.Grip on dry roads is astonishing! I was a bit skeptical about its performance on wet roads but that was only until today. It poured heavily here in Dehradoon and I thought it's a good chance to test the IRCs in wet.As far as I can tell,IRC is a million times better than TVS..I was pushing the rear brakes hard to try and see if the rear skids or fishtails. But nothing like that happened even once. Now,the only problem that remains is the front! Will soon change it to P220's zapper fs now.

Around the twisty stuff,on a hot and sunny day,I am lovin' it..

Don't we have Front tyre option in IRC?

To me, its the front tyre with needs more grip as I have a habit of grabbing the front brakes every now-and-then and the front skids off.

The engine noise is not refined engine like the other RTRs. It makes a mild noise even when cold and it gets crazy as it gets hotter, leave aside tappet noise. The initial pick up is good but as the rpm crosses 7k, the bike starts vibrating and i feel a loss in pulling which is not the characteristic of a 180. Also the bike struggles to cross 110 and it also takes too long to reach it. I met the sales representative again last evening and he, finding that i'm not satisfied with the performance, asked a mechanic to take my bike for a test ride and the mechanic too observed that the bike is not in a good shape. So the sales guy promised me for a complete engine check on thursday. Fingers crossed till then

Should be! I didn't check..I have the Zapper FS in my mind already. So,didn't bother finding front spec IRC.And yes,the front just ruins the party.Haven't seen any bike tire to give the ghost out completely in tarmac like the TVS ones.

I called him today he quoted Rs. 4800/- for both IRC Front & Rear? need to find out the exact size for direct fit.

I am thinking & going to change the full set b4 rain starts can't take the risk anymore for TVS tires today mrng I found some huge along with small cracks on my rear & front, since 3 to 4 month my rear is showing always lesser amount of air in terms of time period is concern like once you fill perfect pressure in both next time you visit "air" compare to normal understanding it's low like (NOT Puncture) for front 28 next visit it's b4 refill it's 26 BUT FOR REAR 32 NEXT VISIT IT"S 24 or 25. pls guide ( like in summer tire bacome hot so air should increase right?)
Thank you again for sharing your valuable views.
I am thinking of putting MRF on both same zapper FS for front & Rear Zapper C in-case I don't find a perfect guy & Stuff I am looking for (I just don't want to showoff with brand names. don't mind just my view not pointing at anybody here)
