ELF Moto4Gold 20W40 1litre pack cost Rs.225/-MRP. I am feeling the difference in just 40kms after refilling with elf.Intensity of vibes has lessened & bike is now smoother than before.Originally posted by social View Post

What happened to the rear disc?Originally posted by shivank View PostProblems here:
Strange creaking sound is coming from the fairing..Bugs me!
Vibrations all over...
Does anyone know how much the rear-disc plate cost?..Anyway,if not give me some higher official's email id..I will try to avail it under warranty
Service is at its worst, yet again..Nothing but the engine oil is changed and other things are left as they were previously..I mean, the jerky throttle response,chain-slackness,and I couldn't open the air-box compartment using a screwdriver..It's jammed somehow.Neither is the AFR screw moving from it's place...I suspect if they were ever fiddled with, any time in recent past..

AFR Screw jamming is news to me. Do you keep your bike outside without any shelter?
Massive and Apache?Originally posted by dead_piper View Posthe jus said it was massive n black had apache name., may be a modified apache., lets wait n watch., m on a watchout for that bike

I went for the 1st service today. Had no real problem and hence only the oil was changed (Castrol Activ 4T). Paid a total of 30 bucks for the oil filter
I think my front wheel alignment is slightly off (very bad roads in Delhi). The guy at the service centre asked me to get it done from someplace else. Said it would be cheaper
Was quoting 650 for the realignment

Oh no! I bought the oil myself yesterday (200 buck for 900ml bottle). The SC bill was of only 30 bucks as they only changed the oil filter. Even I was surprised that no one raised an eyebrow. They were cool about itOriginally posted by Garry_Menace View Postthey agreed to put castrol in ur bike without any argue about the warranty issue?

thats better than changing gear without the clutch depressedOriginally posted by badbikerboy View Posta small question here-
Riding in half clutch is harmful for clutch plate... but what about changing gears with half clutch pressed? Is it harmful?
P.S.- checked mileage (reserve to reserve method), got 47kmpl... :-D
lol
on a serious note.. its just as bad.. gear change has to be with the clutch fully disengaged and the engine speeds matching the gearbox speeds.Suffering from Parked Motorcycle Syndrome

Changing of gears using half clutch method is a strict no-no. Avoid doing that.Originally posted by badbikerboy View Posta small question here-
