Can we expect 40kmpl while commuting inside city confines?

I normally get 40+ FE in the city. During the run-in period when I was below 4k, I used to get 50+ easily.

And guys, my front shocks have suddenly gone very stiff. It's as if the shocks are not there ( feels like a normal bicycle hitting a pothole). Do you have any idea what could be wrong? Had gone for wheel balancing last week but that shouldn't be a problem.

Yes easily unless you dont hit the ceiling very often!!

And there is a world of a difference in on-road peformance between 160 and 180. 180 is super torquey in comparison and convincingly much faster too!!

The front shock-absorber's oil level needs to get looked into!!

Can you also tell me how to do it? I have absolutely no idea. Is it DIY or do you think I should take to the SC?

No it's not a DIY job, you got to take it to SC, or the mech you visit.

Ok thanks! I may go for the 2nd service at the end of the month. I'll have it checked then. Is it a major issue if the oil is a little less and I continue using the bike?

Chicane my bike has clocked 14.5k kms. So this means i can get the Cone set under warranty if insist very hard but i have to pay for the labour as bike is in Pais service phase. Will there be any long term effect if i don't get it changed and use my bike till 20k Kms with bad cone set.

One more thing now a days i heard a very loud thud thud sound when passes throuh a pothole or speedbreaker. Is there some problem with the front shockabsorber. On 11.7k kms i have got the front shockabsorber oil changed but still the sound is there after few hundred kms.

I am facing the same problem now.. I guess the cone set is gone... My bike too has done 14k and is in paid service..

One more headache is that the front Brake reservior looks empty.. I had just filled it a month ago.. My brakes are I guess at 60% efficiency only and the Feel is completely screwed up.. Donno what the problem is here...

My journey of booking RTR180

Hello people i have been following this forum from page one reached page 346 lol,and FINALLY now i have the chance to write my experience of booking the rtr180.To begin with i started looking for a 150 bike and unicorn was 1st on my list only because its engine is smooth and tested,never liked its look or the arrogance of honda dealers and how can i forget they consider no plate as optional accesaries and charge 200rs for it.Neways i book the bike with the thought that there is no option left,I was told the waiting period is 2mnths well i waited but they said it will take another mnth for the delivary so i started looking for options and next was Suzuki GS150ri booked it got it in 20 days im happy i get 6 speed gear box avg of 50kms the svc is 5min from my house hmmmm things were going smooth but then my gear shifting was hard even after 2nd service the tank had bubbles poping on the paint little rust on the inside of the tank swing arm rusted disc break had rust marks and all this was happening before the rains in three mnths just to let u guys knw i wash the bike once in a mnth.So i get in touch with suzuki guys and i threaten to sue them so well they end up paying me the full money back (gs150r i personally feel is a good product i guess it was my bad luck the guys from suzuki were cooperative too)neways im happy i get my money back and there is unicorn dazzler in the market just wat i wanted so rush to the show room to checkit out im unhappy with the fact it looks like a twister and twisters tank looks better and bolder than dazzler im not happy with the finish of the plastic,nonexistance of pilot light and yea the engine kill switch but hey this is India and where the bike industry moves slower than tortoise wat can i expect so i wait for the rains to get over and book it in sept waiting 1mtnh 74000rs on road while booking i was checking out other dazzlers on display i was shocked to see the amount of defects in colour and the existance of orange peel on all the bikes,i told the guy that i would like to have a look at my bike before its registered on my name so after a mnth i get to see the bike and well the paint job was horrible,saw atleast 5bikes all had the issue went to other showrooms same issue i sent around 6 mails to honda regarding the same but no reply once i got a call but hey they just gave me gyan abt their rnd department and all that bullshit, at this point im running out of paitiance and option so went to hero honda same damn issue.ERRRRR by this time i had seen many bajaj but i hate their quality (personal opinion) and yes rtr160 here and there but i had never given it importance because frankly i thought tvs is not reliable and most importantly there are no show rooms in mumbai except one in town and the other in bhandup,Luckily i went to the Innovative tvs bhandup showroom i ask Mr Pravin for a test ride and get it inside the compound on dug up road.There was THE RTR180 the beast in my hands or rather i was in hers i loved it the moment i started it the sound was orgasmic i could feel its power the character it had and it was then that i realised that we Indians dont go for character but only one thing KITNA DETI HAI we forget everything else neways im totally in love with it but hey my mind is telling me KITNA DETI HAI so i wanted to try the rtr 160 and when i sat on the rtr 160 i took it for a distance of 10feet took a turn back and said boss bhaad main gaya KITNA DETI HAI im going for the WHITE GHOST so me and my cousin both book the rtr180.I booked it from innovative Tvs cos i felt they loved wat they did and not just sell the bikes Pravin was answering each and every question Mr Vilas from service center was amazing.Service center looked upto the mark and hey he said he will give me the bike serviced in 2hrs.Guys by dec hopefully i can join the tribe.Hey sorry for the long mail but i wanted to show people how bad honda company is every time one thinks of buying a INDIAN honda please think twice and how if tvs had more showrooms i could have bought this bike earlier
