Thanks for the link. But I already know this. When I did my own research and market study(wrt FS oils) I saw the best options (for normal use) is xW40... which I posted that it doesnt matter. But at higher altitudes, aka colder places, x should be small as possible.

        • @All Tribals : Got my "White Devil" last sunday and clocked 515kms till date and already started blinking the service light.
Those who know me here on xBhp can understand how difficult its for me to ride at 50kmph speed and that too everyday

Nice pics, Welcome to Tribe Apache

The blinking of service indicator is normal as the kms. for the 1st service is taken as 500-750. So, as you crossed the 500 kms. mark, it started blinking. Well, go to the service centre as you get some free time for the service. And, if you want to stop that blinking of the service indicator, then you can do that by pressing both the buttons on the console (the SET and MODE button) simultaneously and holding them for 10 seconds.

Yeah, all of us can can understand how difficult it becomes to keep one's nerves control... Not to twist the throttle past 50kmph and that too when you're riding a Menace

And, you still didn't get your bike registered?

It was scheduled for today but due to some issues with RTO , it would come after 2 days

I am gonna take my bike for the first service in a day or two....could you please tell me if i should pay special attention towards any particular points?
I have heard that the svc guys just wash the bike and do not do the regular maintenance checks during the first service...is it true?
I have bought the bike from century TVS in pune....

Please let me know about the check list before i give the bike...

                Cheers

                    Thanks Swagat
Got it last sunday, kept the news under wraps to give Delhi people a surprise.

A query : The manual shows not to exceed 50kmph till 1000kms. Which run in method would you recommend?

                    • Guys yesterday I had a weird thing while using the horn. Whenever i uses the horn(stock) the light on the console as well as the headlamp dims and when i release it comes to normal. And later on when from the red light i accelerated a little hard, the light on both console and headlamp were diming out for few seconds.
Later on when i restarted the bike and rode it, it was working normal.
Guys is there any issue with the battery or any other electrical of the bike ?
                      Help here

                        Congrats for the purchase !
Keep it below 4500 for the first 1000kms.

short bursts to 5500-6000 are allowed.
                        vary the RPM's.
