I think this error must have happened when I was riding in rain.
But the crap thing is when I gave to service those idiots reset the top speed records.
Atleast it looked cool like top speed of 160 on a 160cc bike.

You're not going to give up eh?
Some things which can reduce top end:
      1) Tappets may be overtightened and check bolts and screws for overtightening also.
      2) Engine is cool. let it warm up for some time
      3) Tyre pressure (keep at 25f, 30r)
      4) Crouch as much as possible
      5) When you're at 4th gear, try to shift at highest rpm possible
      6) Clean Air filter
      7) Engine oil (try tru4)

Even tank full will effect the speed as it would be heavier

That error I have found with almost all RTRs that I have come across...I have already got it replaced under warranty once, not feeling to change it again. Feels good to make fool of some people who boast of baseless speed in their respective rides

              • Tyre Pressure

Can some one tell Me at what duration do I have to check the air pressure? I had recently filled up the pressure, was shocked to see that the rear tire pressure had gone down by nearly 10 psi!! I check pressure every month, and it is always down by 5 to 6 psi. Is it normal? Or do I have to check the tire?
I keep the pressure as 30 rear and 28 front and I use nitrogen, if it makes any difference for the duration.

Also, the right split end(please mention the name as I don't know the name of that part!) which is at the rear of seat is coming loose a lot recently! Had tightened it properly recently, but even then it came loose. What should I do? Image of the part attached for more clarification.

Also, does SVC replace the speedo if the "160" Highest speed is being shown, under warranty?

i check air pressure every 10 days.
The split end, are you talking about grabrails?
And why do you want to change your speedo. New speedo will also have this problem so nothing will get changed.

I get the air pressure checked everytime i fill petrol and it is down by abt 2-3 psi. Its normal for your tire to go down by 5 psi for a month! Also the electronic air re-filler arent that accurate.

Add a washer or wind some thread and tighten it. That should hold it!

Its not an issue as such, if you get 160 on your display, reset it. It will work fine. its just one of the bugs all electronic stuff have

I get the pressure checked every 10 days and its generally 2-3psi less. I keep 26-28psi (front-rear) for wheelies
And if the pressure of your bike is decreasing at this rate, do check for any alloy bents

Those are grab rails. As mentioned do use another washer.

                      • Rim tapes

I was looking for some blue rim tapes but I could only find red ones so got them applied. These are reflective tapes.
                        Here's the image:

Though my friend liked them but I didn't like them so didn't keep them even for an hour and removed them.
And removing them was a very tedious process. So much difficult that I decided to never ever get a rim tape applied. Even paint is easier to remove than this shit.

Why would you want a blue/red tape when you already had the white one? I'm planning to get a wider white tapes done like Drifty (i think) has it!

                          • @cs1183 - I might be getting the lime green colored one for rear tyre. And regarding removal, use a blower/hair dryer while removing, its much more easier.
@Nisnth - Yes Drifty has got it, and it looks good too specially the letters.
