Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
I get a squeaking sound from my engine which often increases as I keep riding. The sound is similar to that which comes from a bad wheel bearing but it is coming from the engine especially from the right side. Does anyone know what the problem is?

First service not done yet, since I've used it only for 180 Kms till now.Originally posted by KnG View PostDone 1st service??? R u runnin the engine properly??? Do u accelerate below 60-65 km within 1st service??
Yes I'm keeping the throttle at half (1500-3000rpm) and always stay under the speed of 60 km/h.

Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
Hey guys few queries from my end
1) in spite of owning my tbts 350 for almost 2 years I have never seen my bike idle when I start it in morning. I have to hold the accelerator for almost 2 min for warming the engine.
2) first thing in morning I notice the clutch being hard but it gets smooth after a while. Even the gear shifts are hard in morning.
3) I have swapped the stock silencer and have installed wild boar I'm noticing that my bikes top end has decreased. How can I rectify these problems or are these common issues in this bike. Thanks

Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
Yes it will cost you as the ASC people will change the engine oil and oil filter as consumables are charged and it may set you back by 900 odd rupees. Just make sure they change engine oil in your presence.Originally posted by Kush Kurkalang View PostWill the first service cost me anything?

It will be around 900 (engine oil) + 93(oil filter), if only there things are ALL RIGHT. Labour is free up to 3 first services. After that you will have to pay for labour also. Will also recommend you, TO miss the 3 service.Originally posted by Vikram Vijaykumar View PostYes it will cost you as the ASC people will change the engine oil and oil filter as consumables are charged and it may set you back by 900 odd rupees. Bro u mean not to service from asc? They cause issues while claiming warranty saying there are no service2 records plus now the extended 3 years warranty has also creeped up.Originally posted by KnG View PostIt will be around 900 (engine oil) + 93(oil filter), if only there things are ALL RIGHT. While starting bike in morning use the choke.Using slight accelerator while kick starting on choke is advisable. In case you are starting on normal kick dont use accelerator as it will damage the sprag spring.Originally posted by Vikram Vijaykumar View PostHey guys few queries from my end

Now coming to the clutch issue keep pressing the clutch up down before starting bike.It helps in freeing up the clutch and smooth play for shifts. Also before initially starting the bike use kick pressing clutch and then with engine off. This helps in clearing the decompression of engine. This also helps the kick starter lever being smoother.
Coming to exhaust I prefer the stock as its the best. You can also try the offroad official exhaust by RE for any difference.sorry no experience on exhausts.
Hope this might help you bro.Last edited by roadd3m0n; 06-14-2016, 05:53 PM.
