Its your bike so you should know better than me, here's my setup, so you'd be able to make a comparison and upjet.

Stock Pilot, 140 Mains, AFR@3 Turns, Carb Return Spring Shortened by 4 Coils, Carb Needle Raised by 1mm. Using UNI Dual Stage Foam Filter.

Karizma runs 30 mm venturi. Unicorn runs 26 mm venturi and extreme runs 28 mm venturi.
Is it your 102 jet or 105. Let me check in parts catalog and then i will tell you to go for which jet. usually a #5 up jetting is required. i will check and tell you which bike jet will work.

the whole thing is i want to buy parts first if needed and do the mod when i go back jaipur and i sooo miss her.. in sometime either i'll get ther shipped here so i can keep 3 of my steeds together else i might move back to delhi/gurgaon so i can keep a bike for a week ride back home and get another one.. so all of them are maintained and used regularly.

yes, it is not too bad but actual. It drops oil level little noticeably.

                  • Let me do a wild guess. You use some engine oil other than recommended Hero Honda 20W40 oil. May be some 10W50?

Does 10W50 suits wet clutch system.??
& can you post some brand names for that? It makes me easier to find.

I guess you did not understand metalghost's post

He means to say that you might be using 10W50 grade which is causing minor leaks as the engine is old. Correct me pls metalghost if otherwise...

My fault. I skipped 'you' while reading.
I am using castrol 20W40. Now, after 1500kms it smells burnt.

Yeah, you're right. I was saying exactly the same thing. High viscous oil might seep out of small pores in old engines. I am facing same problem. Mine is running on Mobil 10W50 and there's a constant leak from head and then mechanic says its because of high viscous engine oil. He might be correct, might not be. Anyway, my service is due in a couple of weeks and I will be shifting back to HH recommended 20W40.

But as Mr. Maurya uses 20W40 and still has leaks as shown in picture, I believe its time to change the oil seals/O-rings.

and believe it or not ...the gear shifts were so smooth ....the handle bars had no vibrations like i faced with the CBR ,....and ride was so comfortable ..and the exhaust note plain SYMPHONY.(i have one with a wider opening @ muffler end that came in the earlier lots )....althought the experience was only of a few kms daily....It was a bliss ....!

Soon again , i ll be giving my CBR to the showroom for shims issue ..last time they did not fir the right shims ..and the only good thing about this whole drama is that i ll be riding my First love again ! ....
