Good mod but it looks odd without the rear panels

Yes.the panel keeps breaking at the mounting area..have given it to the tinker for rivetting metal clamps..in the meantime fell in love with this naked tail end

Is there anybody who has fitted self start or rear disc? Any idea?

It has done 335000Kms and believe it or not, I haven't had to open the engine up to now! Even the clutch plates are the same original that came with the bike. Rear tyre is 7th and front I have had to change some 12 or 13 times.Until I read on xbhp about it, I did not have an idea how many people are in love with this bike. I just bought a KTM Duke 200 so was going to sell this off but now I won't... Duke was kind of revenge for the always feeble headlight of the CBZ!!! Now-a-days parts availability of CBZ is becoming a bit of problem but I am still going to keep it.

HAPPY RIDING to all!!
Welcome mihir,,,,,,,,,,,,At present i own 2 CBZ classic one blue and 1 black,,,i do many experiments in it like fitting LED speedometer lighting,,,Angel eyes etc,,,I will attach speedometer pics ,,,

Dont worry about parts,,,Its available at all places,,,Almost all parts of bikes like Karizma,CBZ extreme, hunk,Unicorn,Shine will suit CBZ classic.for example,,

Clutch plates = Karizma r ,Unicorn ,Apache RTR suit CBZ classic.
Disc brake set = Xtreme,unicorn.
Alloys = Xtreme,KArizma (with disc change).

Even u can modify a cbz classic to karizma R as both have same chassis pattern.Actually i am thinking of buying a KArizma and convert it to cbz classic as i am a die hard fan of CBZ looks.

First image looks neat, so its an led board behind the meter with direct current right?

nirvaana. Yep you are right but I always used the same tyre that came with the bike i.e. mrf zapper and as you may well know it has a shallow tread at the center and deeper ones away from the center line.I do a lot of highway riding and straight line braking is affected by worn center patch of this particular model of tyre. so I have a habbit of changing it as soon as I noticed the center tread wear. As far as the front tyre is concerned I never took chances and changed it as soon as I had a puncture. And anyway it seldom lasted beyond 40K. Is your personal experience any different? Unfortunately the Duke also has this very same problem.I suppose the mrfs on the duke will give a life of 20K before I have to spend about 7 to 8K on both tyres. As mentioned countless times...CBZ is unbeatable is almost every aspect....

Ya no exactly but lots of Led on a board that reduces scattering...The pic is not so clear as i need to take it at night scattering occurs. Its more nice than pic .It is reflecting through the lens,,And as the plastic glass cover is old it is brittle now not clear so light is scattering.Even i have done this in unicorn, splendor ,Rx 100 etc.

----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Mihir i think u need to switch to other tyre companies as MRF tyres are not so lasting .Go for pirelli or michelin if cost is not a concern or else ceat or dunlop.I use dunlop monster at rear and dunlop zebra y at front. It has been 7 months I cant see much wear.

Yea that's what I meant, its a bunch of LEDs on a board that way you can have different colors at different areas. About tyre actually MRF is most lasting and pirelli is least.

Be a man :-) use the kick !

Honestly I always preferred the kick on bikes, and on the CBZ .. loved the way you had to fold the foot peg and kick it just nostalgia !!
