Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
You should sell it to someone who would love and care for the bike. Not to someone looking for cheap bike but one who knows the value of the first generation "sporty" Indian bikes.Originally posted by nirvaana View PostI have my CBZ there dying a slow death

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
No I didnt do it to get ktm duke style just did something different as my rims got rusted heavily. The aluminium foot rest holder also got broken and i welded it and did powder coating on it .it wont peel off as its not just painting its powder coated rims in orange and silencer powder coated in matt black.Originally posted by sinnerz2000 View PostI think you were going for the KTM look, but the parts you painted are the wrong parts to paint, the paint doesn't stick to those parts and it'll soon start peeling out.

I tooo because i have another cbz classic blue colored one.I did this mode because i took this bike in a fully rusted condition with rusted rims ,broken foot rest aluminium piece, rusted silencer broken head lamp/visor etc .I did all these work myself except powder coting wheels $ silencer. That i could complete the whole work in 3k.Need to go for a good visor kit or a round doom in cheap rate for next step mods.

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
Guys, I was not on thread for over a year now due to internet access restrictions at work. How are things going, guys? Hope your CBZs are doing good and still kicking asses on the roads. BTW, clutch plates of my Classic needed replacement as the old/original ones wore out and performance of the vehicle was drastically bad. Trusted mechanic opened the engine and found the plates were worn to very bad extent. Performance is good now.

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
The bike starts only with choke and after it fires the rpm revs to 5k. When the choke lever is turned off the bike shuts down. The carb is cleaned and with new throttle cable and air filter. This is happening after I had left the bike without using it for about a month. What cud this be? Wrong installation of cable? BTW I noticed that the butterfly does not operate with the twisting of throttle cable. It opens only with choke lever. Is that how it should work? Pls point me in the right direction guys...

Getting angry at somebody is the same as getting angry with a bike that just won't go. You should stop and start thinking.
A good mechanic will let you watch even without charging you for it. |
It is funny to know that we've been imitated and copied so well and surprising when we notice our mistakes are copied as well.
