Bike is not starting properly, air screw changed, Plug changed, oil changed, ridden 200km. Plug is greasy changed thrice in three months. Bike is back firing like hell and fuel consumption is very high. Need solution. Currently located at Lonavala. can somebody suggest a good mechanic or place where I can get the issue fixed. Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
Hi frnds this is Ashok from Kakinada. I own a red color cbz classic 1999 yr model. I am in a great dilemma whether to invest around 15k for it's renewal or to go for a new bike. Right now d issues with my bike are
1.Green tax should be paid n life to be extended fr 5 more years.
2.Cylinder kit should be changed as smoke is little more.(already ordered one in showroom paying advance)
3. Tyres are worn out and should be replaced with new pair.
4. Not satisfied with suspension though replaced with cbz extreme variant.
5. Silencer should be replaced (thinking to replace with karizma or extreme one).
6.vibrations are seen at high speeds.
7. Also want to set allow wheels.(no idea which would fit)
8.No major issues with engine except a little oil leak.
9.cowls set is brand new original which I got it from showroom by pre ordering.
10. Chain sprocket and gear cases are also new and original so no issues with them and I like it's number 6969.
I invite all suggestions fr my confused state whether to replace it with a new bike or to get all these things set right and the process to handle it for a smooth rideee.

My 2003 super sprint
recently replaced the tail piece and side panels to sai brand which is pretty gud compared to other aftermarket parts.
i've also changed the following:
1mm oversize piston
increased compression ratio
New camshaft
New valves
Head porting
New timing chain
New timing chain pads
Custom exhaust pipe
Aftermarket exhaust
can up you please tell the difference after installing oversize piston..is the power gains are noticable much..cbz have low compression ratio..i think 8.5:1 so increasing a bit will not pose much problem...also which bike piston you have used for oversizing...thanksLast edited by rawat97; 01-27-2016, 03:03 PM.

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
Hello everyone
This is my first post in this thread. I have a CBZ (2000) which I bought in Feb 2015. I met with an accident just on my way home after picking the bike from the previous owner. Thankfully me, and my friend who was riding pillion escaped with minor bruises. But my CBZ was partially handicapped. The front wheel was completely gone, left crankcase cover punctured and rear grab rail, side panels, front fender etc get broken. More than a year later, in March, the bike was restored back with new parts (some of them are aftermarket). I'm posting some pictures of my beautiful steed

ThanksOriginally posted by winnwgomez View PostCongrats!! Keep us updated! I have a CBZ 2002, which may need some work. Where did you do the repairs?
Best Regards
Winn
Repairing was done at a nearby machanic at Attingal. Bigger problem was getting the parts. Got all the required parts from Kollam, Ernakulam & Bangalore. I'm looking for a better mechanic for servicing. Can you help to find one in TVM?
