    more doubts
    1) could you please suggest a good headlight bulb of 35W - Osram /Philips ?
    2) My silence has partially broken at the engine connecting side and now misfiring happens - i mean sound is high. Have to see it welding can be done. Has anyone tried ?
How much it costs for a new silencer - Any idea ?
    3) Battery also seems not to be charging. Will check with a battery shop. If replacing , which is better - Exide/Amaron/Any other ? I have a 8AH battery. The previous owner had put 8AH when he changed the horns.Do we need a 8AH battery ? I mean is our alternator capable of charging 8AH as the stock battery is less than 8AH.
Mine is a 2009 Analog model
    Thanks

      Hi

      1) Headlights: I am using Osram silverstar and quite satisfied. The throw is dense and wide spread. If you can get hold of Philips Rally 40W then you might experience better lighting than Osram SS.
      3) Battery: I replaced my stock battery with Exide so far performance wise it is ok. However Amaron would be good buy as I have been using in my car ~2 years still cranks in a jiffy.
I havnt experienced any drastic drain in these 2 years among both batteries.

      Cheers!

Philips Rally 40W is an HS1 bulb. Holder/socket needs to be upgraded to fit this into Classic CBZ, which has an H6M holder. So, if you're going for a socket/holder upgrade, why not go for any other more powerful 55/60? CBZ Classic's alternator can generate enough juice to light up any 55/60 over 2500RPM, so say experienced people here. I am yet to try this though.

Please check here for Philips Rally 40W. Rally Moto Halogen 12661RAC1 | Philips

Fork pipes of cbz looks small compare to fairing, when i look at her from front, thought strikes in my mind of modifying those punny forks with buffy pipes like 220f or gixxer with more gap inbetween them, anyone have idea about which bikes's T plates and cone set can direct fit in cbz?? Anyone did it on cbz earlier???

Cbz can easily with stand 55/60 w bulb..you dont have to go for high end 55/60w osram bulb,I got 2 for 1100 back than so i got it ,just get a normal osram /philips one and fit the H4 holder ,but make sure check the quality of the dome otherwise there will not much benefit.
i have battery problems as one stupid mechanic changed the wiring without my consent and than my battery stopped charging so when i switch on my blinkers RPM needle started acting funny . I switch to led to use less battery power so if your battery is good and charging properly than cbz alternator is strong enough to charge and provide power to the headlight bulb but its better to change rest to led to put less load on bike electricals, also led provide better illumination than stock indicator bulb which make us much safer at night..
I would not suggest changing to DC as it need a good mechanic to do and if some one messed it than it will bring more problem,I used this setup for 2 years and now friend is using it and it works fine..
anyways if anyone still wants to change it to dc than there is DEbraj from dvj auto(search in FB with DVJ auto) ,you can send your alternator to him and he can do rewinding for you or might suggest you someone nearby .

Its not as simple to change fork pipe to other bikes as than you might need to change the rim, disc and mudguard and much more as this are all interconnected even it can impact handling as well, ideally if you really want to upgrade the bike than do it for performance even when i will go back to India i will swap most of its part with earlier Karizma as engine and most of thing are common but to do all this you should know a capable mechanic..cheers

              Hello Mr. Rawat,

Are you from Pune? I found DVJ Auto is in Kolkata. So, a bit confused. Also, have you tried 55/60 with H4 socket on your CBZ? How is it working?

Today morning bike was not starting, no spark at spark plug, all connections and wires are good, little spark seen after 3-4 kicks when spark plug cable kept close to engine, i guess cdi is culprit. How to identify what's gone kaput??? Ignition coil, cdi, exciter coil, pulse generator?? Need some help

                    Could possibly be ignition coil?
