1-2HP is what the companies claim as the gain to be as well, but I think thats a LOT too. I would be happy if it was actually that much!

    • ^^ A full system from the exhaust ports to the end can would add power. There are some unknown brands in Malaysia, which have posted dyno results with and without the exhaust system, the dyno does indicate a bump in peak power.

Issue is its not compatible with our bikes ( not fully ), since its for a carb bike, and ours is FI ( theres a exhaust gas sensor in the FI bike )

Hmmm. Well then I'll make do with these non reflective ones for the moment.

Was looking on the net for reflective ones and they cost around $30 on tapeworks.com.

Anyone know a better deal please let me know.

You can get better prices at JC road but i'm not sure about the quality.
A person in Delhi got the white reflective rim strips work done for just 60 bucks!!!

My cousin deals in automobile accessories there in Delhi. Will try checking with him about the cost for the reflective ones. But quality can't say coz i haven't seen those in person.

Cool. Please let me know the prices. Could you also ask him if these were "paper tapes" or had that "plasticy feel" to it? The latter wont peel off when wet.

Will check on JC road next weekend and post info here for others who are interested.

                  Thanks Harshit.

I remember someone had posted on the R15 thread long ago about getting the rim stripes done for 80 bucks, for the reflective ones. Try at any decent stickering shop, I think the radium ones are reflective.
They would definitely have a green colour one, not sure about the shade.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

                      • I went to this place on JC road he had a sexy lime green reflective sticker was quoting 150 bucks. It looked like it was made of leaf green radium. Unfortunately he did not have tape left for 2 wheels. Whenever you guys are going let me know i shall accompany you.

Sure Harshit. In case I cant source the reflective ones locally, I'll buy them online. Please dont buy a set from the Yamaha showroom for me. Sorry for the trouble if any.

Sure. Do you know the name of the shop and where it is located?

I am not in town this weekend so earliest we can all go to JC road for the rim tapes is on Sat, Jun 19th.

I will post a reminder 2 days prior if anyone else wants to come along.

                              • Dont remember the shop, it was quite a big shop at the entrance itself. If we go there i can identify it. 3-4 ninjas on JC road will be quite a sight .
