I've booked my Classic 500 on Sept. 1 in a RE flagship store here in B'lore. The waiting period is 6-8 months, I knew this beforehand, so I was prepared. Hope to get the bike at the earliest, maybe around late Feb or early March. This is going to be my first bike and hope I am prepared for it.

RE bangalore is replacing all the plugs in the bikes that have 'missing issue' with the new ones. So get it changed, if requiredComment

The new ones differ in heat range of the points. Old ones use to come with 7WD and the new ones are 8WD. All the Bikes post May-June come with 8WD. This hopefully reduces the carbon deposits on the plugs, cold start and hopefully miss fire.Originally posted by prabhubravo View Post

Ya, i guess there is another one for the injector.
Rusting is a common issue.. try the reflon coat that does help.
last night the starter relay has conked off in my bike. need to get it replaced.Comment

CL 500 - Pillion seat and Upswept silencer
I have two questions on CL500 -
1. Is riding with the single seat (without the pillion seat) in cities allowed by RTO?
2. Is it allowed to ride with the upswept silencer (in CL 500) within cities as per RTO rules

I have booked a RE C500 2 weeks back and the bike is ready and waiting to get registered by next week. I am Planning to replace with a upswept silencer
