just a question to all classic owners :
my 500c is producing a kit kit sound when it is idling but it goes away as i accelerate. The sound is like of a spoon being knocked in a empty utensil .
So do u guys experience this or i am alone ?
If any body wanna share knowledge, he is welcome!!Last edited by ruby; 01-06-2011, 08:02 PM.--------------------------------------------------

not much difference in mileage.Originally posted by richie2089 View PostHey guys
I am thinking of getting a classic 500 from Dhone automobiles Pune.
I have to ride to college around 23 kms away one way every alternate day or so. In a day my total mileage would be around 35-50 kms.
Should I get the 350 or 500? any advice in this regard is appreciated. Thanks!
dont read reviews at different websites or mags, just test drive both n which looks more satisfying to u, go for that coz maintenance is not a issue in this new classic engine , either 350 or 500.--------------------------------------------------

Thanks for the reply.. They say the waiting period is 6 months
One more thing the slanted silencer is for off-road purposes only so will cops catch me and ask for a fine?
coz that one thumps like a real bull the new silencer isn't as exciting.
Also how much mileage can one expect in the city? is the bike tougher to ride than lighter bikes? coz i have a HH Passion plus its tough on my back im 6 feet tall and 90 kgs .
Thanks
