I got this visitor msg on my profile from a fellow xBhpian named nirmesh. Here's what it said.

I just read ur post in RE C5 thread which could'nt stop me to correct u on few things!
1.The AVL engine in the TBTS is no longer available neither in any other RE,All come with Unit Construction engines only!
2.That Team-bhp review is of the First lot C5,But now RE is bringing some 57 new improvements in the new lot of C5 including increased ground clearance by changing the front wheel to 19 inch and rear to a wider tire.

Re have really worked on improving issues on C5 and u can check that on RE's blog too!
The reason i messaged u bcoz i was in the same situation few months back,but finally went ahead booking one for me!!!
And I see u wanting to a detailed review of C5,have u checked BCMtouring C5 review?
Its by the same deepak as on Here

I have another idiotic question. RE don't sell the Battle Green colour officially in India, but would it be "illegal" to get it custom painted to battle green after buying it? Also, would traffic cops have a field day nailing my ass for riding a battle green C5 and not being part of the armed forces?

Btw, what does the RC mention as the colour of the bike for the regular C5-green shade?

Yes it is illegal in India to paint your bike the battle green colour and a Civilian to ride it. Thats why RE are'nt selling that colour here. About the Cops havin a filed day nailing your a$$ maybe maybe not it ll depend entirely on his mood at that moment and if he needs some bakseesh does he like your face or if his wife shouted at him varoius factors....

As said above,its illegal..!!

Even if you manage to grab one of those old army enfield(in an auction),you would have to repaint it within 6 months of purchase.!!

Most probably by now the chrome version must be available for the fresh bookings..!! will find out about that & confirm..!!

@Starter - Me just booked one today, only the 3 colurs are available, Black, Maroon and Turquoise blue. Me booked the T blue as I felt that it looks the sexiest on the C 500

Yup was not happy with the UCE 350 test rode the 500 loved it s torque and initial thrust. It s amazing plonked the Booking amount and now will wait patiently and save

Seriously good decision on the colour..!!
I've booked a Black one..! I was interested in the T-Blue from the day of its release,but somehow had to decide on Black..!!

Will be getting mine most probably by Jan end..!!

Hey guys just wanted to ask, i guess all the Enfield Bikes sport a half chain cover even the Bullet Standard so are the drive chains O-ring seal type or standard?
Just wanted to know for knowledge sake,hope you guys answer.

Congrats man the Black looks soild, a black bullet is always special. I went for the colur as I felt I am going for a classic so might as well get a Vintage colour also!

My decision to go for the Black was the same reason..!! A Black Bullet is definitely a beauty..!! Black goes very well with chrome also.!!
