my bull came home...
being a silent follower, went thru each page while waiting all the 7 months for my C350. got mine few days back and riding it, first impression was wowww.....pure power. done 200km+... strictly following first start in the morning by kickstart..and then keeping it under 60km... u have to keep eye on the speedometer to make sure it has not crossed 60km...

I got my delivery yesterday, already 90km on the odo, enjoying the ride. Found a few small problems with the bike, but what's a RE bike without any :P No pics for now, I'll post them maybe later.Originally posted by Starter71_Kish View PostEnjoy your moments waiting for the delivery..!!

I am confused now, pls help... morning first time,
1. should i use self start?
2. should i use kick start with choke?
3. kick start
note: i have observed using self start, you need few try's to make the engine on....
mine is classic 350..
i remember while taking delivery, the person ask me to start with choke in the morning.. frnds, pls suggest...

What is the upswept exhaust and bend exhaust?? How does exhaust system effect the mileage of the bike?? Does this also have an affect to the power or torque of the bike???
Also, isn't it worrisome that there is no kick start lever in CL500??? There are good chances of the motor getting stalled at any crucial time especially in places with lower temperatures. Kick start would have helped if electric ignition wasn' working.
Also, it being a purely electric ignition bike, we can't start & stop it frequently, like when we go to the market covering short distances, because this could drain the battery. Am i right???
Also, in city conditions like in Delhi/Gurgaon/Ludhiana....how much mileage can i expect from CL500???
Thanks and WArm Regards,

Classic 500 have a kick start lever,Who misguided you about not having kick lever?regarding mileage,Never expect more than 30 in city conditions depends on how you ride it.Originally posted by FastBilla View PostWhat is the upswept exhaust and bend exhaust?? Upswept exhaust gives a better "thump" feel, but there is not much increase in torque.Originally posted by FastBilla View PostWhat is the upswept exhaust and bend exhaust?? How does exhaust system effect the mileage of the bike?? Does this also have an affect to the power or torque of the bike???

There is a kick start in CL500 apart from the electric start, you've been misinformed. And battery won't drain quickly even if you start/stop many times, you can ride it with ease within city.
You can expect a mileage of around 27-30kmpl in city, depends on your riding style. On highways it gives ~32kmpl.

How to start Classic 500 EFI
Hi,
I have bought my C500 4 months back. I face a peculiar issue. My bike starts with a single kick when I do a cold start but once it has run for sometime and if I need to start it again, it doesn't start using the kick and I have to invariably use the Electric Start.
I have also seen this issue if I use Electric start when I do the cold start.
Is anyone else facing this issue? Am I doing something wrong? What should I do?
