  • Hey all, Ashwin from Hyderabad here. In the old xBHP, one of the members (I forget who) removed their Apache 150 footrest assembly and fit on the RTR's footrests onto their bike by removing the small black silencer guard. I would appreciate any info or pics related to the same.

I want to change my 150's footrests to those of the RTR for a sportier footrest position. A person who has done this change says I need to cut and weld the silencer at a new angle to hook the rear footrests onto the silencer. I don't want to to do this, nor do I want to shell out for a new silencer, which by the way I have no clue how much it costs.

Any help at all with anything is much appreciated. Thanks to all.

    • Zapper-Q 100/90-18"

Went to check out tyres for a friend's CBZ today and saw the zapper-q 100/90. Rs. 1400 with tube. tread looks fancy but it seems pretty skinny for a 100/90. also, the edge where the sidewall meets the contact patch doesnt have tread. it's a smooth line. he decided to stick with the dunlop geo cruiser as he never had any grip probs with it.

just an update for anyone considering the Q for their rtr rear.

the time isn't an error, i have done a 3.9 myself. but the speed would be off by about 5kmph or so. so it would be 0-55.

        • ya 5.4 is not an error. but 2.8 which i attained is surely be an error...

I did 4.7 on that clock, then after a few days it became 0.7. I reset it, go for it again its 4.7 again. Ithas happened i regularly get 4.7 but not better than that. Currently it is 5.2

                • this seems to have degenerated into a 'brag your 0-60 speed' discussion.

as i said earlier, the time would be roughly accurate while the speed would not taking speedo error into account.

Without the sari guard and the wight you may receive a huge vibes at any rpm range. Try fix atleast the weight end at the left subframe end.

One i remove the same and faced the problem, later i switched to the stock and fell the difference.

i don think so kauria...i have removed the saree guard on both my apache and my brothers fi..no extra vibes whatsoever.... and in the case of my apache i removed guard just before leaving for a 750 km trip...my fingers are still functioning well..

                          • Hi Guys - just went to TVS SHow room and where i saw

Carb rtr with DISC is available in Stock condition with TVS Itself.....

Now they have three variants in RTR
                            RTR carb
                            RTR carn with Rear Disc
                            RTR FI with Rear Disc

Sounds interesting - that those who dont wanna FI can go for carb disc RTR

Might be if it known to everyone - then take it as a INFO thats it
