  • ^^^ again personal opinions differ , and i try an avoid accidents as much as i can , so peace !

And i think 3 -4 revolutions of the tyre by hand is more than enough to get the chain well lubed.

But he was saying 270 for only the front pads! Moreover there is a squeaking sound from front side when i park the bike on main stand. I think it is the brakes only.

                    Btw today i saw a faired P150! [220's fairing]

                    • Im having a warranty related problem with the PBK people here in B'lore. They are refusing to change the complete lock set of my bike under warranty. From the time i got my bike in september '08 i remember the right side cover lock was not present. I assumed that its not present in all bikes(my mistake!) and never bothered about it. A few weeks back the left side cover lock just popped out after i locked it. I went to get it replaced and had to buy the lock. After all the arguing and waiting i saw that they fit the new lock in the right side cover. So now the left cover doesn't have a lock at all. I didn't have the time and energy to argue anymore that day...

Two days after that i went again and asked them to replace the whole set since i didnt want 3 keys(1 for the ignition and tank,1 for the right cover and 1 for the left cover) but they are refusing and asking me for the old lock Infact i had kept the lock when i brought the bike for its 2nd servicing and showed it to the supervisor. He said its of no use and throw it away. They didnt replace it that day and are refusing to change it now as well. To top it all, the supervisor is asking me to buy the whole set and is willing to give me a discount

                      • ^^ God Help you!
For PBK to pay for your lockset, you have to completely prove that its due to PBK's negligence that you are in your current situation. Talk to the higher level managers over there.

Btw, which PBK do you go to? Khivraj?

Yeah Khivraj, Indiranagar branch. Higher level? Whom should i speak to? I spoke to the branch manager but she said that they deliver the bike after an inspection so the lock must be there at that time. So the next possible conclusion is that it just fell off.

Its ofcourse due their negligence. If they want the old part to claim warranty why did that supervisor tell me to throw the part away? And how do i show something thats completely missing?

                            • @ praful - While talking to the manager of the Popular Bajaj service centre in Koramangala, he was telling me that Bajaj policy is that there will only be 1 PBK centre in each city to avoid cannibalisation. So Khivraj it is.
