Well.. theres a good news & a bad news!

My student visa application for NZ got approved and i will be flying out on the 14th of this month to Auckland to pursue my further studies. It will take minimum of 2yrs + more before i come back to India. thats really got me excited!

Now the bad part: I will have to leave behind my beloved pulsar 220 back here. I am considering selling it as my dad does like it but he wont be able to take care of it as much as i do. As all of you might know, my bike has been 100% trouble free till now, done 7200 kms and presently on motul 300v sine 5000k mark. No breakdowns or ugly happenings whatsoever. Visited PBK only 4 times out of which 3 were for servicing and once for CO tuning. But still i dont want dad to take any trouble as i have been tru each and every post in this thread on the old & new xbhp, but he hasnt. So, it will be more difficult. Besides, he's a Honda fan.. so dad's considering the option of buying a Unicorn if the p220 is sold. Good for him as its virtually indestrutible and service is not a problem. (Nearest PBK is 56kms from my place).

Now what i ask is, what price can i expect? Its a blue 220 purchased oct,07 done 7200kms (4th service pending), no falls, no scratches, comp. stock, reg. no. is also 220 , and no problems till now whatsoever! (I am one of highly satisfied 220 owners.) Not ripped too... max gone to 110.. that too only once

Can anyone tell me what is the best price i can expect for my ride?

Hi guys, our friend Pushkar is stuck on eastern express highway as his bike is givin some problems.
heres wat happened.
whicl comin back from office now he raised and touched 100 but soon after that cause of signal he slowed down but then bike just started raising at high RPMs even at 1st gear and went dead.
Now even wehn he tries to start his bike again it starts raises and dead .
Any help wld b really helpful !!

He called up a person of SC and he suggested just tapping the fuel filter which he did and everything was bcak to normal.So guess his fuel had issues.
Anyways will get more info from him on this .

I luckily got hold of Turbhe pbk guy Mr.Harish and he told me to flick the small white panel attached to the Fuel pump (under the tank on the LHS) and it worked. He said its prolly some kachra tht was affecting the fuel supply. I was ready to go and bike seemed all ok .

After running a 3/4 kms ahead i realised i forgot something .. i looked down WTH the battery panel was not to be seen.. I forgot to fit tht and i left it where my bike was stranded . Went back and finally returned home at 11.30 ..phew..

hahahaa.. yes i was in similar state of mind.

I just got fed up with the pbk workshop - there is a leakage on fuel pipe below tank , and they said, "we are out of stocks". Now just met with an accident on 1st jan and the front tire blown up - it got 3 tears, the wiser and headlight goes broken , front disc brake always give problem , not upto the mark as ;like zma - overall experience 220 - its so far not good for me.....(personal experience) , cheap quality spares,,, and unprofessional service.
Now , no more bajaj for me not even ninja.....

Whoa man u are having a tough time with your P220 it seems....
Well as far as your personal experience is ,,,,you are kind of really pissed off....but i guess most of us here wont agree with (cheap quality spares)
But as you said (personal experience) then point agreed....

Absolutely! The PBK service center at Okhla is a wonderful place to get your "probike" serviced. The more I visit, the more I fall in love with the service (the staff, the work they do, the hospitality, even!).

For once, I can vouch that Bajaj's service is good.. I hear the Kirti Nagar service station is as good (if not better!)..
