The second batch , 10th April

There used to be vibes some times , and some other minor issues too initially.....but most of these have been fixed for the recent versions .

I kind of got used to it or stop noticing or the bike 'healed' itself because now (since 14-15 k kms) I visit service center only for regular service.

The only problem I am having now is that the battery has become quite weak and needs a replacement.

Dude! i know what the reason is. The brake lever has perhaps got more inclined towards the fairing,or it has come up. I did this[inclined the levers] to get a more sporty position. But within few kilometers my wrists started paining and so did my shoulders!

      • I'm too using semi synthetic motul 5100...already done 3800kms but still going strong...the oil is real worthy...still the gear shifts..vibs are smooth enough but most probably I'll change at 4000-4500kms.
        its all about CC...

        • Important info for delhi ncr

I went to PBK Okhla for washing my bike. On 4th Service as I was in a hurry i requested them to wash my bike any other day to which they had happily agreed.
Today I was shocked to know that they were washing the bike with NIRMA WASHING POWER (WHICH IS USED FOR WASHING CLOTHES)!!!!!

I was seriously pissed off. I have car shampoo at home!! Had i known this I would have carried it with me!!! Today & some months before also I had asked them what they were using for wasing to which they had specifically told me that its a special powder for cleaning bikes!!!

PBK people & Durgesh ji: If you are reading this , this is very very very dissapointing. I was one of the satisfied customers of Bajaj. Now I am even dubtful about the engine oil being used!!

          • @RX: Man, this is shocking! Bajaj using Nirma to wash bikes!? This is some serious quality issue with Bajaj! The authorities must look into the matter ASAP. I am sure I am not getting my bike washed from there anymore!

The engine oil they use is genuine one, that is for sure. Well, atleast it seems so!

Bandhav: Hope you take to higher ups

Absolutely! Even I am ready to pay for the washing if they use proper stuff and not some bloody detergent powder! This is ridiculous.

Being emotional with something like this is serious foolishness! They are after profits, everyone is. They charge you for servicing, so we expect a professional job - nothing more, nothing less! 'Trusting' them would yield you nothing but disappointment (like in this case). I hope the higher authorities at Bajaj seriously look into this matter. This is unacceptable.

Let's try the other PBK service center now at Kirti Nagar. I hope they are using proper procedures to wash the so called "Pro-Bikes" and not Nirma, Arial and all that stuff!

Just had a chat with Durgeshji. He has thanked me for this info & told me that they will get bike cleaning liquid ASAP to every centre. Also he assured me that if bikes are cleaned by the froth only (no direct contact of powder) then its not much of a concern but best will be the liquid which they will bring soon

RX: Let me add some topping on it.
Those guys use detergent..thats OK...Also, they use the old engine oil on your chains rather than grade90 oil...
I never allow them to use oil..rather I come to home and use grade 90 oil.

I still remember my first walk at PBK okhla was on sept2007...they just provided ultimate service...just awesome..
But as the bikes are increasing day by day the quality of work is deteriorating
Until and unless you don't stand on top of their head they won't do the proper work..even they won't adjust your CO without telling them to do so.
                              its all about CC...

So true, you need to FORCE them to check the CO, and at times, even then they act so bloody naive!
