Had 1st service on monday after completing 680Km. Asked PBK service center over here if I could get my own oil and they agreed as long as the grade was same, even though 5100 4T is 15W50. So looked around for 5100 4T semi-synth but it doesn't appear to be available in chandigarh. But got hold of Castrol Active X-tra 4T 20W50(remembered Mitesh's post). Got 2 cans for 240/- each, it's red in color too. So far the bike feels better than the earlier 'red' oil. But trying to get hold of 5100 4T from Pune. Am also going to delhi on 24th, does anyone know where exactly is 5100 4T available there?

Bad bad bad

While riding to Kandivali (W) yesterday I got off Western Express highway to the service road to take the subway. I was riding at 10kmph, there was a CAB coming from the opposite direction and he was driving right in the centre of the road, well I honked he didnt move then I used dipper he still didnt move ultimately I decided to go left and as left as possible but since distance between us was very small he hit his taxi on to my silencer and my right leg got caught on the shiny part of exhaust giving me a terrible burn and a bad twisted ankle on my left foot. This happened right in front of the police station and a traffic cops saw the entire incident. The taxi guy tried to escape but was stopped and he started lying that I was overtaking. The traffic cop got wild and said "BC" bike ke aage koi gadi nahi tha. The traffic cop asked to lodge a police complaint immediately which I did, well the taxi guy was put behind bars coz his licence was expired and he didnt have proper papers of his vehicle. Now I am left with a bad dented exhaust rivet and paining left foot and injured right foot. And to add on top of it last night the bike was cranking fine but this morning it just wont crank no matter what I did. I checked the connection to the battery but yet it wont. Finally with a help from a bud I got the bike dhakka started, my local mech checked the bike and realised that the connection to the starter relay had broken and got it fixed.

Waiting for what next to come.

One day while coming home at evening i was a bit excited and was speeding. I overtook quite a few cars and bikes. Then a person on a Suzuki Samurai came near me and asked,"u seem to be in hurry?" and also said something more but could not hear him!
Realised later that he was a cop in plain clothes! But i was helmeted and the road ahead was also clear. Took a clean section right hander by leaning out and vanished out of sight! That was a close call!

@Praful: i m completely fine now. but i guess when u met you told me to check handlebar.. if it is bent a little my hand will pain....

Well whenever i ride like more than 20 odd kms....my left shoulder pains a lot...do you think it coz of that...i really dont know that. That is why m gonna tell PBK guys to check handle bar as well....

Have the PBK guys check on this, its possible that you took a slight hit on your shoulder and thus the pain and it mite not mean that ur handle bar is necessarily bent!
