hey thnx aryan n yah my language is a lil weird
. you knw wot i have noticed that my P220 engine runs much smoother whn i drive faster, i mean the faster i drive the smoother it feels, the best feeling i get whn am driving my 220 is that on the road am always ahead of the crowd. Once i was drivin on the western express highway and i suddenly noticed that the RPM meter aint workin, so i pulled over and switched off the kill switch and restarted, but the RPM meter was still not workin, so i switched off the ignition keys and did a complete reboot and there it was workin again. i think my bikes givin me somewhere between 45 and 50 kmpl whn drivin at 65kmph with speed petrol. I simply love the way the bike picks up even at as low as 30kmph in top gear. Will write more abt my experience. Glad to be in the P 220 club.

I am doi run-in for my friend's P220. Just finished 1st service today, clocked 720km so far. Kept the engine revs less than 5k always.
I just think that the rear bikes are not biting hard enough, it's less responsive than the drum brake on my P150. Is it meant to be like that? the front disc brake works perfectly fine and you can feel it biting.
BTW, a 1500km long trip between 1st and 2nd service shouldn't be a problem right?

Ur still searching....Originally posted by Aryan View PostOKS is unavailable at the service center, neither could I find it in a few shops I searched around...

Make up ur mind man!
Tell you what, buy a chain spray....finish the can....then buy SAE90 oil and u'll just love it for its VFM'ness
Rear brakes: On a empty stretch of road, When in motion at a slow speed, fully depress the rear brake and release. Don't do it too suddenly and don't do it too slowly. Do it till ur bike almost stops, then give a little throttle so the bike gets momentum again.Originally posted by DarthVeda View PostI just think that the rear bikes are not biting hard enough, it's less responsive than the drum brake on my P150. Repeat this for about 10-20 times. And the rear brakes should be more effective after this.
Basically, there isn't enough pressure in the lines. Doing this builds the pressure! If it still doesn't work, take it to the mech. and ask him to bleed the lines incase any air gaps are present.
Take it for a trip whenever you like. Just ensure that the oil is changed at the proper intervals._________________________
