You use Motul so in that sense, any oil additive would be a waste. But you can try Bardahl Oil Additive; I have been informed that the same works wonders on the engine. Many of my friends who have tried it reported positively.
Also, check if you can carry out a compression test.

    - Head Gasket/Packing (between the head and the block). I presume that this would be changed after the valve lapping job.
    - Since your 220 does not have any vibes, it rules out the balancer loading job.
    - Check the Swingarm axle and bolts(adjust according to the specified torque)
    - Check the Banjo connectors to the oil cooler and back. Prone to leaks if not tight.
    - Throttle Body(clean)
    - rear wheel alignment(normal procedure)
    - Also, check the fuel tank for corrosion or debris. If found, you may need to treat the same.

This one I am unsure about
    - Check if the exhaust/exhaust header needs any cleaning
Oh boy! im saving all this

@Samyaza: I am saving it too...but I am pretty sure I won't need it for another two years.

This does look a bit low but that could be due to the angle of the camera. Ideally the PBKs set the RPM somewhere near 1.5K +/- 100 RPM. There are two settings; the idle and anti-stall setting. If you observe, when you release the clutch with the throttle closed and the gear engaged, the rpm rises automatically. This is the anti-stall setting. If your bike does that, then there shouldnt be any issue.
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

            For NGK's , you need CR9EIX and CR8EIX!
can you please tell me which plug goes to which side (left/right). and from which perspective do you consider the left/right side of the bike...??
is it in the riding posture or is it while the bike faces you...???

what you saw in pic. the real position of the the needle

the anti stalling is performing itz job finely
(exactly the same way mentioned by you)

but my concern is the idle rpm, perhaps which is giving me jitters while morning starts
i can notice engine's beat of not being in its respective speed

              • Is any of the P-220 club member from delhi working in okhla phase 3?

Saw somebody on a black P220, in full riding gear last night at around 1 AM near Modi Mill. Immediately thought that a rider this responsible has to be a member of xBhp. My guess was it's rx100.7050( hope i hav got the name right).

Btw, im vaibhava, and im completely addicted to xbhp. Dont own a bike as of now, dreaming of buying one in the near future. Have learnt tonnes about bikes from this site. Thanx a lot to everybody.

                      • best of luck with your unicorn......

                        @All....Well a bad news.....

Went to visit a ortho doctor yesterday...due to my left shoulder pain from past two weeks...

Doctor said it might be a tissue damage or tissue injury coz the xray was normal...

he said its nothing major but i would have to avoid riding or driving for atleast 6 weeks, this may cure the pain......he gave me two tablets and a ointment which burns like my shoulder is set on fire....

I am gonna miss my trips for almost one and half months from now on...
