It seems that either the CO/fuel filter might be the things that you need to check. I am visiting FC PBK this Saturday for a routine wash and CO setting. You can join me there.

The MRF shop is on Nagar Road opposite the Weikfield factory. The distributor is situated exactly opposite the corporation office.Originally posted by BeastRider View Post

Coz no two bikes are same and there are too many variables when you talk about mileage.
A safe guess would be that both give around the same mileage!
1) I have owned P180 V2 for two years (highway ride to Ooty/in town riding/back to Bangalore ---total of around 600 kms) average mileage returned - 42.xx kmpl
2) I rode a 2007 P-200 for about 600 kms. (highway ride to Ooty/in town riding/back to Bangalore --- same around 600 kms) average mileage returned - 37.xx kmpl
3) Currently owned bike P220 for 9 months (Ooty n back - 56x kms) average mileage returned - 40.xx kmpl
The friend's 200 was in pretty good condition and he gets a mileage of 42-44 in city.DoN\'t LivE tO DiE, dIe tO LiVe

The reason I said why no one will be able to answer that question is because there are just too many variables involved in mileage, like :-Originally posted by pranay View PostI might be able to answer this one.
- Kms on the Odo
- Service record
- State of Tune of the Carb/FI
- Fuel quality
- Ambient temperature and humidity
- Tyre pressure
- Road conditions
- Road traffic conditions
- The Rider
- State of mind of the rider
- Kind of fuel quality and engine abuse seen in the past
- Amount of carbonation inside the engine
- State of lubrication of the drive chain
- Cleanliness of the Air/Fuel filter
- Method of mileage calculation
- And So many more things.....
Taking everything into consideration I still feel that it is difficult to answer that question, even more so coz every bike different. Our mod Aryan's 200 gives a steady 45+ kmpl. Even if it is the same rider, even though the basic riding style would be the same there would subtle changes in way of riding that again affect the mileage.
The only way we can compare is by taken a sample of certain number of bikes and average out mileage... then again average is not really a indicator of the true story!

But without making it so complicated, P220 more or less gave me the same mileage in city/town compared to a 200, and more than it in the highway.DoN\'t LivE tO DiE, dIe tO LiVe
